I'm excited to see the progress made as you determine what's working well for you and this chassis

first off, you know your videos are great when some like me hits like when ads are still running. never heard of this differential type but after seeing that it is for the yd2 I immediately thought, I could use it in my NGE, like you did too. Will think about that. Again, great explanation on everything aand your tips in finding ways that work best for yourself. much appreciate your videos. -Daniel.

Daniel, thanks for the kind words! Absolutely yes you should put one in the NGE! It’s already good, but you’ll make it a weapon of mass driftstruction lol love these Difs. Glad to have you on board, cheers

@@ScaleScience lol, I first read weap o mass drifTraction, had a laugh anyways. but I think you got me here, always do onebyone steps, buut as soon as my current project is finished Ill head out for one of these diffs. thanks again Jordan.

Excellent video, definitely helped me build mine. Just curious is the diff meant to be bouncing around in the gearbox housing ? Seems not a snug fit but works fine?

So far it’s okay. If you have a lot of play some shims will sort it right out.

Highly recommend the yoko gear diff over the clsd. Provides a bit more side bite, and stability, Along with a bit more pull up than a clsd

I’ll have to give it a try!

I’m going to be running this on p tile should I do to hard or two soft?
@ScaleScience2 күн бұрын
Believe you’ll need 4&4 or 8&8 I don’t think you can send it on 2
@zalingonzalez33512 күн бұрын
@ yes but 4 with soft or hard springs? I mean do you want this diff to lock fast or slow?
@ScaleScience2 күн бұрын
In my experience I ended up liking the stiff springs most. They helped the clsd feel most like a ball dif when off throttle and on mild throttle

@ I run yoko gear diffs and I really like them I guy we’ll see how this works

That underglow kit is stunning, it's a shame you don't ship to Canada

Message me, absolutely can. Just too hard to give blanket price for Canada shipping. Scalescience@gmail.com

Will this diff fit in a mst rmx 2.0 rtr or is it specific to this car
@ScaleScience Жыл бұрын
This is specific to the YD2 or cars with straight cut gears. If you ever swap to the 2.5 ra transmission you would be able to run the rmx C-LSD
@chrisdutcher9565 Жыл бұрын
@ScaleScience what is a rmx lsd? Never heard of one besides the diff that hasn't released yet. Would love to take my rmx to the next level

Just sold off my RDX. It was the least fun chassis I've ever owned. It drove fine, decently fast but not ground breaking. I just found it completely unrewarding to both drive and tune. It doesn't respond to tuning changes and just kind of drives numb. The RDX was my non-comp fun chassis and it totally failed that role. It's being replaced with an fxx beast mode.

They have definetly been hyped hard. I’m not in love with mine but I’m sure it’s just a few adjustments away!
