@@Freefrost that's why i said they should pick better hero than enchantress in the last pick.. i mean how can you do with that hero they just focus too much in buffing tiny and lycan combo coz they are confident that they can work that out coz they successfully smashed team secret with that combo even if they have magnus and wyvern in their draft but too bad team spirit already knew how counter tiny and lycan combo with the same hero that secret draft against lgd in upper bracket finals, spirit just execute it well in the grandfinals compared to secret.. for me lgd should have pick silencer instead of enchantress in the last pick coz that hero can disable spirit ults in the clash with his global silence in a better timing .. tiny and lycan combo is strong but they just don't have a decent hero to disable ww, magnus, and bane.. team spirit luck in this ti is just too strong..

Well done Team Spirit! They played so beautifully. Everything they did was perfect. The way they execute team fights, the way they engage and disengage enemies, their map awareness (I can't recall how many times I saw them TP out at just the right time), their drafts were on point and balanced. They were really feeling themselves, they were confident, and they forced their enemies to make mistakes and made very few themselves. Much respect and well deserved!

I really liked the interplay in games 2, 3, & 5 between XinQ and Collapse. Really fun tips and counter-picks. If Collapse went bkb instead of linkens game 3 (like he did game 5), they could have even won 3-0 I think.

Tiny/Lycan needs you to commit to fights by running in. That's what the drafts with wyvern and bane is for. It's not necessarily the mag but crowd controls that pierces through bkbs is what they need and that's what they got.

game 5 was pretty smart by TS, now I understand their coach said they were counting with luck, they planned giving Tiny to LGD so they could draft magnis + a counter to the Tiny strat, it would backfire if LGD picked the Magnus instead of Tiny. I think TS is the team that won the most against the Tiny strat, 3 times, 2x against OG and 1x against Secret

I don't know what's going on because I'm just a noob, but it really seemed like the best thing PSG.LGD could have done in that last game is just chill? Literally just don't do anything and continue farming. They popped ult/aghs and ran at them no matter what even though it's incredibly obvious Spirit is baiting them. Like that dive on the tier 2 bot or Ench charging up hill with no vision on any heroes after pretty much confirming all of Spirit is chilling in the triangle waiting for the dive. And LGD just took the bait every time? Was their late game really that bad vs Spirit's line up? A 6 slotted tiny with Lycan aghs 2 shots heroes and 5 shots towers but LGD just crumbled in typical Chinese fashion. Their broken combo wasn't working like it usually does so they just turned off their brains. Sad final match. Reminded me of CDEC getting dominated after PPD figured them out.

Don't forget this guys (both teams) were under insane pressure, both teams had some mistakes and because of that we could watch 5 games instead of just 3. Very solid finals, sadge no crowd made it feel a bit shallower experience than previous TIs.

I believe that TS lategame was pretty much better in a passive farm game. TB's insane armour, durability and solid damage with empower is something to be reckoned with. One good RP in lategame is a no chancer for LGD.

The first biggest thing that LGD does is never ever respect the Magnus that already thing that if you watching every singel team spirit match none of the big team respect the Magnus pick. Second LGD try to gambling with lycan tiny strat against the spirit. And third they just play under pressure like BO 1 match everything can happen.

@@hipotalamus I agree their late game was better but we've seen plenty of games where the weaker late game team gets control early and uses that to farm the items they need. Aeon disk for mag, ghost scepter for TB, lotus orb for TB/WW and giving Ench space to turn into a damage dealing semi core would have changed things a lot. Team Secret would have done that in this situation and maybe they wouldn't have won but it would have been a lot closer. LGD just went in super hard and reduced their chances of winning to about 5% with that first dive on the T2 tower. It just looked really sloppy.
