My dad has a 23' parker with a Yamaha 300 on the back, he's running one of those props (running 40-60 miles offshore) and he picked up a touch of top end but hole shot and handling/control went up and he saw about a 15% increase in fuel economy...his fuel savings has already paid for the prop since last April (when he got it) nothing but smiles for the old man. I've got the 24v 100ah Epoch battery in my boat and it's awesome. Running a 24v terrova for well over 10 hours and still was above 70 percent when running between 3 to 8 power on the motor. A have called Epoch 2 times for questions i had and they answered the phone and questions. I highly recommend Epoch. I'll never go back to conventional batteries for a trolling motor. As a side note I run a LI-Time 12v 100ah mini for my 3 graphs 9", 10" and, 12" all garmin and have yet to run out of juice in a day.

Epoch is pronounced "Epic". I have two of them. Amazing product and better customer service. I had an issue with my first battery called them up, and they fixed the issue without hesitation. But I needed a battery in four days for a tournament. They express delivered me another battery at an amazing discount to get me back on the water and had my original battery back within two weeks. One and only knock is they are a little bigger, but I will never run anything else due to the amazing customer service. And I'm not easily impressed.

I have a SeaArk Easy 200 (family all purpose boat). 20ft w/ a ProXS 150 on it. Rated for a 200. Fully loaded with 5 people, 5 batteries, full tank, I can run up river between 47-50mph. That's plenty fast in a tin with my family. I've been 114 on this same river in a 32ft Spectre cat. That was a trip!

Andy you need to go spend a half of a day in a Caymas and give us your thoughts on a Caymas. I think your going to be very surprised. Especially on a windy day in rough water. I've not been in every boat brand but I've been in a lot of them and I haven't been in one that rides any better. And I owned a Champion. Just spend the day in one and give us your thoughts. I agree with you on the Ranger tin, the way there hulls ,split ,etc...yeah I would limit hp to 150hp... Gotta have a thicker stronger material to withstand that kind hp and punishment of average bass boat in rough water

Checking if any updates on Triton? They moved into the Ranger plant apparently. They had 2 pages in the 2023 Bas Pro catalog and I didn't see any mention of them this year and they were not listed again under the Bass pro/Cabelas boating center list of brands advertisement.

The pictures I see of the ranger it does have a jack plate, so I don't see why you couldn't put poles on jack plate mounts. I will ask at work tomorrow if its in our ordering system yet to see what options are available. I will also check on the new tracker..
