More than liking it's open/closed faces or poor angles of attack/path that are causing your big misses. Go get some lessons and I bet it changes. I get longer, straighter shots when I hit it just slight high of center on the toe side. The center doesn't always give you best results

Tiger at 5:55 is so great. the way he says "outside the red," like his brain just cannot process how to hit the ball not in the center. so much so that he is just sitting there muttering it to himself twice questioning how he has worked so hard to master something only to be told that he needs to do the exact opposite and it just doesnt compute. and damn, the sound of rory's backswing is incredible. like you can literally hear the difference in speed that he is able to create. the sound difference is incredible compared to everyone else, the screaming/whistling sound that it makes is really unlike anything else.

Scotty's shot was the most accurate for a real ammature miss. Using a club in a pro's hand does not show a true miss for us plebs. Scotty absolutely shanking it is the most helpful part of this whole video. Even a forgiving driver will still SEND you into the next fairway.
