Hi I have A DX6 spectrum transmitter for my TRex align 500size It was without batteries for a while it's been out of use for about 5-6 months just put some batters in this morning It turned on just fine but the back wasn't on and a couple batteries fell out but Before this I had turned the switch to the on position and fired up the way it always did before mind you I bought this transmiter brand new less than 1 year ago Never had the slightest issue with it always work perfectly fine but today when I put the batteries in the back was not on and 2 batteries fell out the transmiter was on when this happened I picked up the 2 batteries and put them back in and flicked a switch to off and on again and it did turned on, but now I am in "RAW INPUT TEST" My question is how do I reset my transmitter and opt out of the "raw input test"thanks in advance....Jim.

hows it going guys. ive a dx6 and an apprentice s15e,,, i am 100% new to rc's. the problem im having is that the left stick and right stick have reversed, the right stick is now the throttle! and i dont know how to get them back to standard. I cant even turn the plane on because the throttle is always at 50% being the right stick... need help asap lads

Here we are five years later and this model, the Gen 2, has been discontinued and has been replaced by the Gen 3. I still love this radio though, I see no reason to give it up just yet.

Hello, Can you help me please? I have bought a DX6 with a AR6 10 Receiver. Does the receiver have its own wiring to the control board and if they do, where can I buy them? The wires I have received don't fit and if they did fit the black wire would be on the inside due to the shape of the connector. I hope someone can help. John.

Who cares about the haters and the thumbs down. Great presentation of a great radio! I love my DX6 Gen 2! But sometimes I wish that I had picked up an 8 to a 9 though. Still a great TX though!

Robert Emmons Why did you say that? what dont you like about the dx6, do you have the gen 2 or gen 3? I have the gen 3 and am learning about its great features. this video is terrible, it really is. The guy is so monotone, low voiced, and talks too fast. He fails to say switch I is also the safe switch on those receivers equipped with the safe feature. No, I have heard better . I had the gen 2 and it was defective from the start, sadly it was used and I couldnt return it. Wasted $118 on a piece of junk from E- Bay. Never buy used electronics from E- Bay.

Ive heard better reports a d reviews too, just on different videos. It's not that I don't like the radio, I absolutely love it. I use it for all of my RC fixed wing, single, rotor, and multi rotor aircraft as well. I've never had any issues with it. I had bought it used from a member on RCGroup.com. the TX works well for me in every way, but unfortunately my huge Phoenix Models Westland Lysander requires a minimum 7 channel TX. Unless I sacrifice a function, I really can't fly that big bird. Now you see my issue.

Robert I can give you a reason to give up on the Gen3 especially if you live in Europe. The Damn thing doesn't work with dsm2 , other manufactures ie. Fr sky and jumper made their radios backward compatible to cope with the latest stupid regulations coming out of the European Union but not Spectrum they just expect you to purchase all new receivers if you buy this radio.

The instructor is reading from a script as fast as possible in a monotone voice without any show and tell. Nothing is pointed out. Useless presentation. And I just purchased it. Guess I will have to learn from Manual.
