Spektrum DX-6 Firmware and Sound Upgrade

ProjectKing I would like to update my DX6 Gen 2 but I have a question about audio files . I have a lot of alerts if I updates the audio I have to configure the audio again for all the planes or it will remain the same ?

Hi, When you downloaded the serial number to the first SD card that you used, did you then change the SD card for another card to download the updates. That is the bit where I am confused. Hope you can clear this up for me. Thanks Anthony.

Will the update 2.09 allow the DX6 to work with the AS3X system? Just installed a Spectrum 631T reciver in my Stinger 64 and trying to get the AS3X to work.

Thanks. I just did my second update and this video was helpful since it had been a while. I went from 2.07.03 to the newest 2.09 2.07.03 had a weird 7 channel glitch that caused some annoyance as it was unusable but it was displayed in the servo or channel assignment screens

I have the same transmitter and it wont update the new firmware and i cant import the EFL F-18 software

I wonder if upgrading the firmware clears the fault that the System Failure message refers to. You can hold the scroll wheel in and clear the message and the transmitter works again but apparently the fault might still be there and its unwise to fully trust the transmitter once its done that. As I found with a horrible accident with a helicopter!

+Jonithen Jackson Yes if you use the Spectrum receiver that comes with the radio. Not sure how many functions you will need on the drone. Of course DX6 only has 6 channels. Good luck!

I can imagine the new ones are already updated as far as quad settings. Since I would never fly one, I wouldnt care, period. I guess its best to upgrade incase you decide to sell it, thatway the shmuck that buys it from you doesnt cry because its not on there.
