Southern naiad grass is the weeds you guys found. It grows out pretty deep, I've hung it at Smith lake in 15 to 20 ft of water.

It looks just like a grass we have here in south Central Texas Canyon lake . Unfortunately I don't know the proper name but we refer to it as Star grass . Not always but a lot of the time it has the distinct smell of marijuana or skunk depends who you are I guess lol .

Wheeler is on a different level than all the other tournament anglers no disrespect meant towards anyone but a bad day for him is somewhere between 5th-10th which is a great day for anyone else

Agree Wheeler is a next level angler…and will be know as one of the best ever..just remember that MLF format and Elite is totally different..so you can’t compare ranking the same at this point between anglers that fishing the other tours.

@@ScottMartinChallenge I wasn't complaining rankings just the results day day out against really great fisherman because I can't compair different generations because it is really fair and to me Roland will always be the greatest I learned so much off him as a kid watching tnn and would try what he would do and it always worked for me and I broke my pb several times when I was 16 by just doing what Roland showed on his shows I can't remember the exact years was the 90's though and he won a smallmouth tournament on the elite series using a spider jig
