That's so creative! Pianta Village always had an odd feeling to it with it's under-side mushrooms. But this really explores that concept and captures that feel PERFECTLY! No notes, this is perfect for Mario Eclipse.

Okay, I love how this level is connected to Pianta Village and takes place on the jungle floor far below the area. That’s a neat setup, and makes Isle Delfino feel way more like a real place. Also neat to see the NPCs stuck down there too, and the use of unused enemies as well. Just worry the level seems like it could be rather confusing to navigate due to how dark it is, and how sprawling the paths are.

This is like one of those fever dreams you have as a kid, just imagining what's down there in the unknown gaps of the levels. It's like Breaking the Barrier but for Mario Sunshine. I also get Ewok Village vibes from Battlefront 2 2005. The beta Yoshi's a nice touch.

This level is fantastic. I mean just look at the setting! If it's the beautiful greenish trees that cover the landscape, the vibrant bluish greenish water, or the glowing neon blue mushrooms, the landscape is perfect! Another thing is the tree town which feels cool yet uneasy. Another thing is the dialogue which feels realistic, like the traveler , the mushroom guy, or the fire guy who is chanting of all things! And this all gets tied up with the literal best song ever. I'm not joking when I say this soundtrack is better than anything Nintendo could make in 10 years! Bro made the best level ever. Keep up the good work!

definitely a level from my dreams, i once dreamed that inside the big tree in pianta village there was a warp portal to a secret level, and was pretty much like this (only with more floating platforms)

This is what I envisioned a Super Mario Sunshine Mod to actually look like and make levels. Especially like the idea with the tunnel full of mushrooms and the camp+tents. Just think a bit more "wildlive" would be maybe a bit better or more fishes or even just free living yoshis if thats possible. On that note I like the rework of how they live, maybe it'd be good if you take damage and your tank is empty to loose them. Amount of ppl is perfect for what this area is supposed to be, and the way they talk and what they say perfectly encapsulates sms! Also I think a cool addition would be if all the flames at least gave a coin, one maybe even a blue coin. What kind of tools did you guys use?

Just a piece of constructive criticism, I feel like the music doesn't have that sunshine sound to it, it sounds a bit choppy. I feel like if you keep the score (which I really like) the same but just change the instrumentation it'll be great. Could always just be a youtube thing too tho

Thanks for the input. The intent of the music for Pianta Pit is to be a more dissonant and eerie version of the original song, being this level is an extension of Pianta Village.
