I love how insanely strong Azula is in The Smoke and Shadow after she restored her mental health. She fought both Suki and Ty Lee without bending, learned how to redirect lightning on her own, and took down Zuko on their last fight. She's awesome!

In 2017 he was sure there is going to be a post smoke and shadow comic. 6 years later nothing. The point is it is hard to see this as interesting if not expanded upon and left up in the air without any conclusion.....

@@AndalusianPhilosopher Bright side is there's an Azula Comic announced to be releasing next year revolving around the Spirit World - she has her Kemurikage fit on the cover, so it's guaranteed to either explain what happened between the Search and S&S, or what happens right after S&S. Plus there's a Gaang and a Zuko movie confirmed to be coming out around 2025 or so, meaning we'll get a _LOT_ more on Azula's fate for sure within this decade.

I love how they actually are showing off Azula's raw talent... Unlike Ozai who is only skilled in combat, she has the pure bending ability of her Uncle and the fighting talent of her father... Well, in all honesty, Katara is in water-bending what Azula is in fire-bending. They're both extremely talented prodigies. No bending discipline is as such superior over the other, purely depends on talent and execution. And please don't mistake katara's caring attitude as weakness; she's more vicious in her bending than her master.

@@djw_tekken8490 Smoke and Shadow and the search were a disaster. Ursa was originally born in the nobility according to the creators and her marriage to Ozai wasn't totally unhappy. The whole point of the marriage between Ursa and Ozai makes no sense since Iroh was the crown prince. Then they introduce Kiyi as Ursa perfect daughter which adds further insult to Azula since Ursa completely neglected Azula and now has new daughter

Iirc the Azula comic was announced in the San Diego ComicCon. A leaked panel reveals that its based after S&S. The show I'm not too sure but there were general leaks around the standalone Zuko film by Avatar Studios.

The comic will definitely give us a hint as to how she goes forward. And it is possible that the movie will feature Azula in some way. But as to Azulas final fate, it would take a lot more. Since the upcoming movie will be set when team avatar are young adults, we still have at least 50 years before events of Korra.

I KNEW Azula had something to do with kidnapping mai’s little brother, this is why she always one step ahead. She’s like Nations MOST wanted 😅This is why ever since their father lord ozai was locked up, Azula would still manage to have unfinished business with his brother to take back what she thinks was rightfully hers. Honestly, Mai's brother always get kidnapped a lot. Remember how in the original show he got lost because of how he saw Momo on the window and caused chaos on that episode? Also, that is the same episode of Azula vs Aang in Omashu along with Katara and Sokka vs Mai and Ty Lee.

Not necessarily. There is a possibility rltgat she could see error of her ways and find healing. After all smoke and shadow takes places 2 years after the show. We still have 70 years before events of Korra. When it comes to Azula much of it is unwritten. It is long period of time and who know perhaps Zuko along with Ursa might get through to her. I read great fanfics where it Azula found happiness and healing. The ball is in Brian and Mike court now.

I don’t know what exactly is gonna happen to Azula and her group cause I don’t read the comics, but I have a feeling she’ll end up in "The Fog of Lost Souls". It seems fitting, she can’t hurt anyone there and she’ll be trapped in her own mind. As for how she would even get there, well she and her group are impersonating spirits to commit crimes, something tells me they’ll regret that later on.

Considering that TLA’s post-war era has been (mostly) peaceful, it’s not too surprising to me that Zuko’s skills may have become somewhat rusty over the years. Plus, as Fire Lord, Zuko is probably bogged down with tons of political responsibilities (that take away from his training time).

I feel that the accurate pronunciation of Kemurikage should follow the Japanese Romaji orders; which means the "ge" would be that in "get" instead of that in "cage".

The newest comic that's getting released next year will be giving Azula some much needed redemption. While painful, I actually kinda like the direction the comics took with Azula as she was way too hurt and scorned to start a redemption arc immediately.
