Clorox Bleach Y'think? I think it depends on the standard of comedian, regardless of melanin. I've seen some black comics who are all audience-inclusive, complicit and crowd working, with nothing more than that to get them through a 5 or 15. Certainly not the case with black comics like Pryor, Rock, Patrice, Chappelle, Bernie, Cedric...etc who are (or sadly, were) truly gifted. Looking at that list I just made, it saddens me that half are gone. Dang.
