This story about the reserves hits so close to home, lol I was in the Navy Reserves, and my friend did the exact same thing. Showed up one weekend during our weapons training, had a conversation with leadership with a doctor's letter, and that was the last we saw of him. 😅 I believe he was eligible to keep half of his sign on bonus too

You should thank the real men that had the guts to actually go and fight for their country. Even if it was a quite unfortunate war, the men that went there were brothers who fought and died to protect the vietnamese people who were being senselessly butchered and raped by the VC and Rebel armies. Larry didn't do crap all to help anybody but himself.

So I happened to be watching episode 3 of Band of Brothers (on a let's just say, "non official source") when it started buffering, so I load up youtube and check this video out...at exactly 2:40 of this video the Band of Brothers episode stops buffering and starts playing, and I almost died laughing (thinking for a solid 10+ seconds that the editors of the video put in machine gun sounds to Larry David acting crazy).

I dont understand why he joined the reserve. I too graduated in 1970. The first draft lottery was in late 1969 and based on Larrys birthday his number was in the high 300’s. Mine was 204 and for 1970 198 was the highest number used for that years draft.

Larry is the most relatable person on the planet. I’m super picky with comedians, Musicians and artists being one myself. Curb is the greatest show of all time. Even my 17 year old daughter who hates most everything mainstream fell in love with curb. It will be sadly missed in this hack show of a world we live in.
