Charlie Rose has a knack of connecting with his interview subjects in an authentic way. He assumes depths of character so always is confident to dig deep. He is also a man of few cliches and retreading already covered grounds. His vision is expansive, good humoured and empathetic and this usually results in the interview subject being interested in him enough to answer his questions at Rose's desired level of enquiry. He is IMO far and away the most interesting interviewer to ever appear on US television. Who wouldn't enjoy answering such interesting and penetrating questions.
