Well, Conan and his podcast are an entirely different story, ...having started it after a 30 year resume in television, ...but I disagree with your statement otherwise. Actually, a large number of stand up comedians are "flaming out", and turning off their fans from OVER EXPOSURE, that is exposing them as unlikable douches. Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Andrew Schulz to name a few, ...but there are plenty. Conan is a different thing altogether though.

The previous time that sticks with me is Conan's minute-long incredulity at "jumping off Fuckman's Leap." A little Forgotten Classics or Pistol Shrimps Radio could have prepared Conan for the inevitable when Eduardo expertly slipped in that setup
