He exposed Jordan to all these racist commentators and gave them ammo... Matt was so much more on the ball during this.

Wow talk about jumping to conclusions and creating some story out of nothing to fit a completely imaginative narrative that YOU made up in your head . This quote alone… “you’ve got to ask yourself if he’s surrounded by older comedians who resent young people and if he think’s it’s normal to dismiss people’s distaste for right wing ‘I’m being cancelled comics.” HUH?? Where did you conjure up that idea? If you listened to his podcast regularly you would know how he surrounds himself with a mix of young comics and older comics. He thinks it’s important to listen to young people, he always has. He doesnt get into politics often but you can tell that he himself has a distaste for right wingness. So what if he hadn’t heard about the Ricky Gervais thing. 🤷♀️ I hadn’t heard that and i’m young myself! I hadn’t heard until Peele mentioned it and then i had to look it up. It’s not like it was front page news. Ricky Gervais is not the name he used to be 10 years ago. Back then maybe it would’ve been headline news. But Gervais is barely a footnote these days. So don’t go labelling people as “resentful of young people” simply because they don’t know the latest Ricky Gervais news. Most people don’t know their latest Gervais news these days, he’s nobody!
