These ideas are so cute. I wish I would have done stuff like this when my kids were younger. My oldest is starting high school and my youngest is going into 7th grade. Working out of the home made doing things like these next to impossible. But I do love watching other moms do special things like this for their kids. Praying they have an amazing school year!

Your pencil decoration turned out adorable. You are a great Mom to your kids. We used to take pictures of our kids before they went to their first day of school and even their first years of college in their first dorm rooms. Love the idea for the pencil snack and teacher gifts. My kids start school tomorrow. Better go do a Target run. The pencil that you made gave me flashbacks of my college days. I went to Oklahoma State and we have the biggest homecoming and we make these huge house decorations using chicken wire and glue and squares of tissue paper to create the coolest things. Good job! 😊

Former teacher-LOVE THE GIFTS! My girls are grown adults, and it is so fun to watch you and the great things you do for your family! I taught my girls how to do their own laundry at 12- and they were responsible for that chore at that age. I helped with bedding and blankets (totally agree about blankets-I think they multiply in the dark) until they were around 14-15. What are you thinking for your kids? I had no boy, so I’m not sure my method would work! Also Owalas are the best.

Wow you have to do a lot of back to school prep in the US. Here in the UK we don’t have to supply all the stuff you do and I’ve never heard of back to school gifts for teachers. Perhaps a teacher gift at Christmas or end of of term but only for elementary school not once they go to secondary school

As a former teacher, I like to show appreciation before the year starts because I know so much effort goes into prepping for the school year and preparing the classroom for the students. I know it's above and beyond but I want their teachers to have a great first day too ❤️
