Hey friend! I want to say I'm in the same boat as you. I went back to work after being SAHM for 10 yrs. While my job is ok, I'm gone for almost 12 hrs/day, I feel like I'm failing as a mom. I'm so tired when I get home that I do the bare minimum. The house stays picked up for the most part & thanks to my huge 2019-2020 decluttering its easier to get back in order. However we're eating out more, kids having more screen time, dog doesn't get his mile walk per day...the list goes on. I want to ask my boss for Mondays off (9-4) so that would allow me the time to go to appts, grocery shop, etc, but I'm nervous. The worst case scenario they say no. I should say I don't have to work but enjoy being in this environment & making friends after moving where we have no family.

I’m from the UK where the area around our houses is much smaller than in the US and I absolutely love the outlook from your house. Also I agree about simplifying decor in the house I don’t like too much ‘stuff’ around the house. Here in the UK we don’t generally decorate for each season but I like to put just a few things out like a spring design kitchen towel or spring flowers. I love your videos and look forward to them every week. You have such a lovely family it’s a joy to follow you xx

Love your ideas, Amy and thanks for the motivation. What about moving the hutch into your dining room, in the corner where you have the plant? Since it is already painted, you can give it a coat to match the color scheme in there. Your nook is so sweet - keep it the way it is. When it is time for new washer and dryer, buy a stackable version and then add a bench by your back door. It would be accessible from the garage and the yard - plus it is tucked out of the way and not in your general living space. You could even add a folding surface over where you have your garbage can now.

Love the dress, Amy. I organized our loft where our office is. I had two big boxes and three totes and I was able to get those organized and stored. I feel so much better about the space. Our home remodel is getting closer to completion. We make progress daily. It’s overwhelming, especially since I have a full time job outside the home and a 40 minute commute one way.

I love the simple look that you do and you are just so natural at it. I think when someone has a lot of things out then you don't really see any of it I'm working really hard on trying to declutter so things will be easier to manage. I will say I'm struggling since I'm an over thinker and being grandma raising my 3 grandsons and my back (lack of mobility) i tired easier so i definitely want simple. Please keep your ideas coming i really need them. Oh and the hanging thing in the kids closets i learned from you has been fantastic for the boys school uniforms! Thanks so much❤. Hey, I have my own Makita blower . It runs on 2 batteries. Like the type used in a power drill. I love it ! No gas/oil/cords to bother with. Also, I agree with you. Much better looking visors out there. I always try to go with my initial thought when trying on instead of trying to talk my ownself in to something. Love my upright freezer. So easy to organzie and see everything.

Thank you another great video. We struggle with the pollen in NC, too, so I know what you mean. It's horrible. I use the battery powered yard tools by greenworks. They are FABULOUS! Super easy, no gas, no cords. Since we have several, including the blower, we have plenty of batteries.

Hi! My kids are on Spring break this week, and we honestly never do anything fun over Spring Break. It's either we don't have the money to, or we just can't because of scheduling. Anyway, it's nice to have a break from driving them back and forth, lol. A good show my husband and I started watching is Virgin River on Netflix. They will be coming out with season 5 this summer, so we binged the first 4 seasons and we are excited for the new season lol. We will get to watch the new season in our new house which is super exciting! Have a great week, and thank you for another great video!
