This is the first time that I have commented on your video that I remember. It feels a little funny seeing you and getting to know you when you don’t see or know me, but such is social media right😉. Here is a little bit of who I am. I live in the northwest and am a pastors wife. I have three kids (2 boys and a girl) and love cleaning and organizing! I homeschool so I rarely get to clean alone😕. I usually watch your videos when I’m relaxing at the end of the day. I’m finishing my spring cleaning today ending with my kitchen. It really helps being a perfectionist to see that other people have normal dirt and messes in their homes too. Geographically we probably experience extreme differences in weather. We just got dumped with 6 inches of snow 😳😤😢! I would love to sit in the sunshine that you are probably enjoying!

Our family had a wonderful weekend, Thursday my friend had my family over for The last Supper, we had biblical themed food and some regular food, I’ve never done this and it was awesome. And my Pastor had me speak at our Good Friday Communion service, I was a little nervous but it turned out great! He assigned me on Jesus facing the Sanhedrin, Pilate, and Caiaphas. So awesome! Wasting a half of a millisecond upon what anyone may or may not think...not important. You are a people helper. I am too, when I was younger I worried when I wrote song's and yes, mostly guys hated them, mocked them, made faces and called them put downs.. those same exact song's always went solid gold. They are still on the radio. People changed society to absorb my song's. People helpers are ahead of the times. We shape society, not the other way round. Keep this in mind. Do not negatively trip nor worry

Hi Amy We have 7 kids and we come through our garage also. We bought full size school lockers and gave one to each kid. That way when they got out of the car they went straight to their locker and was able to hang up their jacket and backpack and still have room for sports things or whatever. Kept it clean and put away and they knew just where their stuff always was 😊

That’s so true I used to worry so much about what needed to be done. To the point that I never had me time and recently I have tried to be more in the moment and giving myself some grace. If you put your Tineco up in the sink or go outside… use the sprayer into the hole that is under your content holder (?). Lol You will be shocked what comes out. Otherwise, I clean mine pretty much like you did. Also, I may not should be using different cleaning solution but Fabulouslo is my favorite. No bad smell. After I’m done, I clean my sink and then bleach it. Matter of fact, I just got through a few minutes ago. I just thought I’d share.

I completely agree. I’m working a seasonal job and it’s almost over. I have gotten so behind in my cleaning. I come home completely exhausted and still have to help my kids with homework and make sure they get to bed on time. And I fall into bed and doesn’t take but a couple of minutes and I’m out. I do what I can in the mornings. And on my days off I try to get some extra sleep and try to get somewhat caught up. But as long as we have clean clothes, clean dishes, meals to eat, etc. the rest can wait. Don’t get me wrong, I wipe down my counters and all that good stuff. But it’s more of a quick clean up. I will get the rest caught up once this job is over.

I agree about the garage mudroom option. I meant to say that when you mentioned it, but I got busy. I was going to say that I have seen a lot of KZbinrs change houses, and it takes a long time to get things to a point of working, and your kids are at an age where you need to focus on their activities. I wanted to throw a couple of ideas out there. You could move your son downstairs to the guest room, and he would have his own bathroom. Gracie June still uses the playroom since she is younger. Another thing, it is so much fun to watch a home evolve. You have a great location and houseplan. Of course, I just want you to do whatever makes you happy. ❤

I'm always a hot mess at the drop off too. I have a middle schooler and a 5k kiddo so I still get out to help her, they know what they are getting with me though 😂 I work at the school as an aide and I go in 2 hours after drop off, by then I have myself put together a bit more. I'm currently 7 1/2 months pregnant and I just try to be comfortable at this point. I promise 99% of other mommas at drop off are the same. My husband and I also break up chores like you can Chance. He does all the outside maintenance (which is alot because we have 10 acres and a very long driveway, we recently got hit with 10 inches of snow for him to clean up) really all I do outside is decorate and plant my flowers, occasionally check on the chickens. I feel like alot of people don't realize how much work goes on outside the house itself. The guy at the car wash was probably looking at you because you are gorgeous!

Such great motivation for this Monday! I will say that it is currently 8:45pm here in Minneapolis, but I did pause the video long enough to go and wash the cast iron kettle that my husband used for making supper and I also loaded the dishwasher (plus turned it on to run) and I grabbed my bottle of Easy-Off degreaser to clean the top of our stove. We have the City of Minneapolis coming through all of the apartments tomorrow to do a property inspection, so I wanted to make sure that the majority of the apartment was at least presentable. I liked how you talked about giving yourself grace when it comes to cleaning and not to be too hard on yourself if you need to rearrange and shift things around. Any of us who have lived long enough know that these messes will still be waiting for us tomorrow ~ unfortunately they don't just magically disappear. But I think giving yourself grace is so important in other aspects of one's life as well. I am 58 and am starting a health and wellness journey. It isn't so much about the number that is on the scale (although it definitely won't hurt my feeling at all if that number goes down), but it is more about my overall health ~ mentally and emotionally as well as my physical health. And I just started and my goal was to not do any eating after 6pm. Well, I was so stinking hungry that when my husband left for work I decided to snack on a few crackers and I was so disappointed in myself and felt like a complete failure. And I had a coming to Jesus moment where I realized that I simply needed to be patient and give myself grace. Today is a new day and this journey is not about perfection but just overall improvement and that will take time and there will be times when I fall on my face. I just need to pick myself up, brush myself off, and keep moving forward. Rome was not built in a day and health improvement will take time and patience.
