Tell me about it. Goggins has changed my life since Nov 30th, 2018. Along with Jon McMahon and his iThrive series. I was 235lbs and so out of shape the tests showed I had the body of a 59 year old...I was 49. Smoking, drinking, lethargy for 20 years and just supremely unfocused. I had some sort of heart attack driving my young daughter to school. I was beyond scared. 4 months later I just finished my third triathlon. I’m 191lbs. Circulation is vastly improved. Mind just feels much more clear and focused. I’m setting goals and making new plans around things I’ve always dreamed of doing. “Comfort is the Enemy to Growth”. Thank you David Goggins for reminding me of the true me and who I want to present to God when I’m dead.

With his speech, I am now determined to break myself off this insecurity and anxiety. Slowly, but surely. One step at the time. I am currently waiting for bootcamp to the navy, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes in order me to move forward to see the other side. I'm suffering, but I'll succeed. I'll make him as my role model from now on. I'll do whatever it takes to serve my country, and I'll be the best at it.

Within 5 minutes, I wasn't tired anymore. I was energized! I then put away my clean laundry that has been out for 2 days. Then I thought to myself, when Goggins calls, you gotta answer. I thank you for sharing your struggle because although different from my own, it helps me feel less alone as does our shared motivation to live a better life and workout nonstop in the cold. No freezing rain can take the joy of freedom and hard work. That is the truth(!) and I look forward to the day I have released the shame with this work ethic to the point my career is fully liberated and dedicated to speaking out against speaking out against this type of violence I experienced.
