This dude has got me workin my ass off. I started about 6 months before I discovered him. I started skipping lunch at work to do a workout every day I'm there. I hated legs so that's all I did was focus on what I hate most. After 6 months and I found this guy, I have continued to amp up those workouts and doing other workouts at home. I wanted to start running in the mornings before work and finally last week I started Tuesday morning at 430 am. Got up and ran a mile or a little over every day through Friday. Got up again today at 415 am and did a little more. I have never felt so great in my life. I just turned 38 last week and a year ago I started to get a little chubby. I've always been skinny and I took a look at myself and was disgusted. A year later I'm killin it. I listen to him every morning when I'm getting ready to go run. Even got my dog out running with me as of today. This dude has me super motivated. I started talking to myself like he does. The whole time I'm running I keep telling myself to stop being a bitch and go further. That or I pretend he's put there running with me and just running me into the ground telling me how weak I am. I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and still steady moving towards my goals. After waking up and grinding while most people are still sleeping, it has me feeling great all day long. Wish I would've stopped bitching out long ago and got after it sooner. The fact that I didn't made me just tell myself I have even further to go now so why bother? Terrible attitude. A year ago I decided I have to start somewhere and I did. Started slow and kept adding to it thanks to this guy.

So grateful to have stumbled across an article titled "Toughest man on Earth" with a picture of David Goggins holding a giant log. I thought to myself "This dude is the toughest man on the planet??". I watched a video that was at the end of the article about who this man was and something inside of me changed. I've been extremely depressed lately, I always felt like I wasn't good enough I felt like giving up on all of my dreams because I didn't think my dreams we're possible FOR ME. I had to stop and be honest with myself and ask "Am I living at my fullest potential?". I'm not, I'm not even close to being who I could be. From here on out I'm going to change an push through my pain and insecurities.

@@matanmeushar4656 I'm doing great right now, despite everything that's going on. Internally I'm feeling the best I ever have. I'd say diet and exercise played a big part of my journey over the past year. I've had some pretty eye opening revelations over the past year. If you're struggling socially or don't understand how to make connections/build relationships with people I would definitely recommend reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People". This book has helped me with social anxiety and knowing how to lead interactions. Overall I feel like my social IQ raised from this book. Remember it's not what you know it's WHO you know. Also, when I wrote that post last year I was trying to make myself more attractive in the eyes of women. I'd say that listening to Patrice O'Neal on youtube and a few other red pill channels have changed my mindset for the better. Life is all one big game and now I feel like I have all the tools to build the life that I want to. All I need now to do now is life my life unfold. Thank you for asking though. It's awesome that some random person actually cared to ask.

I love this man. Never talked to him, never saw him in real, few months back I didn't know he existed. But things that he talks about...I had these things on my mind for like two years and inside I knew they were right, but I lacked courage to try them, to grind every day, to suffer, to go for what I believed I wanted, but I was scared to become commited to these ideas. Now I know a man that has been living by these ideas for 20 years and he is happy, he made it really far and in his 44 years he still looks like 28 years old guy. Bless you David Goggins, you may have changed my life, but it is too soon to say that for certain. I hope I won't back down.

There is nobody as raw as him that actually care about others, if he sounds harsh to you, that's good, that what he wants, he wants you to accept your reality, work on your weaknesses, face them, so you may find a better version of yourself tomorrow in the accountability mirror.

"It is our responsibility to show up to the coliseum of life prepared for fuckin' battle!" Not just my favorite Goggins quote, but one of my favorite quotes from anyone. Unlike many quotes that only apply to particular situations (like the Rhema word), this one can be evoked under ANY challenging circumstance. It is particularly encouraging because it gives you a sense of duty in times of difficulty; it's your RESPONSIBILITY to be prepared for battle. Many quotes that are motivating in times of ease and comfort are not powerful enough to quell our demons whenever they appear, because they are generalized and there is no sense of purpose behind them. It is a fact, that people perform better, and are more engaged when there is a purpose behind their actions. This quote not only makes it our duty to gird up our loins when times get rough, but there is an element of accountability if we shrink away. We can all find convenient excuses or means to console ourselves when we fail to stand tall against our personal boogiemen: "at least I tried...I made it this far..." There is no consolation when we fail to meet our responsibilities. This choice of words makes facing challenges personal; it speaks to us as individuals and therefore, has more power than some "damn right" quote that gets instantly consumed by whatever fires in which we find ourselves surrounded!

As I read his book it was amazing to me that I kept looking at my own life. I'm reading about him and yet his story, his message, leads me to think about myself and ask those tough questions. Now, listening to him here, it's just more icing on the cake of his message and mantra. David Goggins is a badass and the fun thing about him I sense. He is right, he does not care about likes and followers, he is just out there, doing his thing for him. And it's not selfish, he is showing us the way, are we willing to follow his example or we willing to learn from his experience. Thank you David Goggin.

I was 11 when my dad got shot in the head in a hunting accident. My mother left a year before that accident. I had no one. I scraped by doing landscaping and cutting grass. I ate a hot dog bag of chips and a soda. Or I would go t Wendy's and get 2 Jr bacon cheeseburgers. My limit was around 2 dollars to have dinner. I had to buy my own clothes and shoes. I was malnourished. I went to highschool and flourished. All AP classes. I pushed my self in the classroom when no one cared. I never showed a test or a report card to anyone. I went to my senior year at 16 years old. Almost enough credits for college. I needed more enlisted in the Marines at 16. I was 19 and a corpral. 21 a sergeant. I went from a broken kid to a millionaire overnight. I will never forget my past. I am not a millionaire but I feel like one. And I am the one who gets to feel my own feelings. I truly believe in myself. I have such a great life. You have to do it for yourself. Never quit and never give up. Semper Fi. Always faithful.

I'm done feeling sorry for myself. I know you are too. From this day forward, I strive to be my best self. To those of you among the faceless mass of humanity who are on the same grind, I see you. I might not know what you look like, what you sound like, but it doesn't matter. Knowing that the spirit of resilience and drive exists out there is enough for me to know you DO exist. I dont know you, I cant help you with your struggle but know I'm right here with you. With every step you take, so do I. I walk this path and I see you for your struggle. Keep, fucking, going.

I have nothing good to share. As demented as it sounds I've listened to this hundreds of times. I feel lost in my own mind, but listening to this man is helping me to sift through all the bullshit, bullshit from my past and the negative bullshit I tell myself because of my past. All I can say is its helping and I'm slowly changing. Man I'm just fucking grateful (( look at yourself, man! Look at yourself!))

Bruce Lee had his own movie sequel, so does Sylvester Stallone, so does Jackie Chan, so does Arnold Schwarzenegger, so does Jet Lee, So does Dwayne Johnson, so does B. A. Baracus and the same goes for Jason Statham as well as Vin Diesel!!! Why is it that up till today we don’t have a movie for this indisputable HERO!?!?! Sir Goggins deserves his own Marvel movie on perseverance and endurance alone. Come on people, he deserves it! ✊🏽👏🏾👏🏾✊🏽

I’m listening to his audio book after seeing his Joe Rogan interviews the last few months. It’s changing my life. The last 20 years I’ve gained 20-25kgs, my circulation was terrible. I couldn’t stop eating poorly. I couldn’t focus at work because of these things do I took a package and left. I’m dedicating the next year to triathlon and nutrition. I’m on a whole food plant based diet for 1 month now and signed up to a sprint triathlon next month. I thought my goal was to do an Olympic triathlon but after listening to Goggins I realized Ironman is the goal. Im turning 50 in July and I’m not going back to what I have been doing the last 20 years. Thank you Goggins. You reminded me of who the fuck I really am.

It’s not the schools job or a teachers job to teach this. We take complete ownership. It’s parents who aspire to stay hard and be the best they can be to show their kids how to be adults who are going to change the world. As long as we continue to blame schools, we’re lost. I work to this every day and I encourage you all to do the same. We can inspire the next generation just like Goggins inspires us. Stay hard.

A motivational speaker came to our school back in 2019. He said the average things about working hard and never quiting. A cookie cutter motivational speaker. Our school even made us take a class on his videos every month. I forgot everything he said and literally no one remembers him in our school. David goggins is the only speaker who impacted my life to the point where now i'm done with stuttering and being shy. "Do something that sucks everyday" works, being raw and truthful with yourself works. Thankyou David.
