Ive already enjoyed this event more than any event ever! I was never more happy to have a 14 turn duel that went back and back with trades and i lost by 1200 points but god it was so much fun! I want this mode perma! Already 16 duels deep and having a blast

I Appreciate oldschool YGO more. Just normal turns, no 3 mins overboard of millions negates with the same extra deck cards in almost every archtype deck.

Love this event! You can also make good decks for next to nothing! Sure you will have to skip crafting cards like Pot of Greed or Change of Heart, but you can make a Monarch or a Zombie deck and not use any UR. Also, you dont't have to craft BLS; it's in one lf the 500 gem precons

This needs to be a normal format, brings back of players and if they decide to match up master duel with the tcg it brings in competitive players as a training sim for their deck so it’s a giant cash influx with lots of new and returning players for Konami

This event was so awesome, I hope Master Duel put this as a permanent mode, with rewards and daily missions, I won't even touch the damn ranked!!!, I enjoy so much playing, I mean winning using Creature Swap on my Royal Magical Library in Atk position to his 8 level monster and summoning Vanilla Ritual Black Luster for the win is something else

I think people not playing ranked is why Konami doesn't want to add it. They can't sell new cards if all people are playing is old ones.

The thing I learned about this game mode is that a lot of new/returning players don't have the cards to properly enjoy this mode. I am a returning player myself. I only dueled one person who wasn't using a loaner deck. Also, Metamorphosis is kind of broken.

The memories. This puts a smile on my face. Gadgets allow you to replace your hand advantage so you can actively go negative without losing anything. I personally liked using floaters into destruction personally. Nice deck, great video.

I've been having a blast with old school year I've been playing my Dark Scorpion Deck and my old school flip that which is fun and then last but not least my favorite old school 2004 deck clowns control is coming which is so fun to play Good Times playing these decks I hope they have a festival of this format next time because you cannot beat old school Yu-Gi-Oh it's the best

Chaos Emperor Dragon pre errata is still powerful because of not erratad sangan and witch can search yata garasu to lock your opponent from drawing. If you don’t get Sinister Serpent (Pre-Errata) out of the deck you know it’s Game Over.

I use the loaner deck with the Fusion one mostly cause of being able to use Black skull dragon. I loved that card when I was a kid.

Made gamba, and burn + control decks and won with them with 70-80% estimated win rate and it is fking cheap, no URs at all( except for the 1 off free swords). Rarest card I used is just lava golem(from my mikanko deck) and room of nightmare for my trickstar (WiP) deck.

It's basically Goat Format. Stop continually pushing for extra damage! Patience Sam. God damn! Set monsters aren't always Morphing Jar ;-) G1: Summon Injection, then play Nobleman // Summon Kycoo then Change of Heart, in case they had Torrential for both moves. G2: Attack with Blade K. before deciding to summon the D.D. Warrior Lady (probably best not to even summon it MP2. Better to set it instead). In case they have Torrential. G3: Play around the Torrential. Attack with D.D. Warrior Lady before summoning again. Or set the Apprentice MP2. Also, setting the Don Zaloog may have been better with the Gadget's ATK being below Don's 1500 DEF. G5: Wave Motion was played turn 1 & Nightmare's Steelcage. It's a Burn/ Stall deck. But good call on not attacking the F/D Marshmallon towards the end.

Everyone was playing gadgets because it is the first of the loaner decks. Kinda irritating playing against the same deck over and over but when playing against players who actually made their decks, win or lose it was fun. My best matches were against self made decks and went on to 20+ turns. The back and forth was super fun.

N/R had way more deck variety since every summoning method was possible, back row removal was abundant, AND there's no ceiling to N/R as new packs get added to the game. N/R is objectively better and should be a permanent mode. The only reason Konami might not, though, is because it'd be the most popular way to play and you can't sell packs on N's or R's.

Had an amazing duel just yesterday. Used the Horus loaner deck. Drew badly, enemy pounded me down to 600 LP ... finally got a combo, summoned Horus, used Level up, turned the table.. 2 turns later, my opponent gave up - I had 300 LP that moment, because I had to gamble, but it payed off. Glorious comeback victory.
