Shadow Man got a full remaster and was re-released 2021. 2021 was the PC release and the Switch, XBox and PS5 versions landed early 2022. One of the original programmers Mike Navaro has even added back the cut content with restored levels like the swamp for one of the serial killers and a few bosses. In the last few days Tim Haywood who did the music for Shadow Man was asking if anyone who worked on Shadow Man 2 : Second Coming had any of the original code. So it is obvious they are thinking on getting the PS2 exclusive re-released on modern platforms. There is also talk of a full modern remake for f the original game but that appears to be up in the air. Nightdive were behind the 2013 release and that was just getting the original PC version up and running on modern OS

@@TogonzoMedia Very cool. There is a short vid on YT showing the Asylum with UE graphics but I believe that is a fan project and has been there for a while. Wasn’t aware of Nightdive doing a full reboot with comics and new main character. Tim Haywood asked on FB a few days ago in the Shadow Man Remaster group if anyone had source code for Second Coming so I am hoping that will happen given it was a PS2 exclusive and really buggy

oh, hey, another excuse to rant about Drakan! Seriously though, I loved Rynn and Arokh as characters. They had great interactions with the world and each other, and really those games were everything I've always wanted in a video game. Run around with a sword, hack up goblins, hop on the back of a dragon and set the rest of the goblins on fire! Someone has to own the IP, hopefully someday we'll see another game.

My favorite thing about Ecco the Dolphin....from the outside, it looks like a barbie level, bargain bin, kids dolphin swimming game...but once you get inside it, the difficulty and design on display makes it closer to a pre-gen Dark Souls then any happy little ocean life game

I'm the most glad to see Jen and Scree from Primal on here, as well as Kurt Hectic from MDK/MDK2 and Klonoa. There's a lot of characters who could benefit from being more known. And more games, too. From the Zeno Clash series and its recent game Clash: Artifacts of Chaos and The Dishwasher games by Ska Studios, to more recent titles such as No Straight Roads, Soulstice and the upcoming Cookie Cutter.

Interesting games on this list. I played Primal and loved that game! I would be so hyped for a sequel. I mean it was one of the best PS2 games and still looks great to this day if you ask me. Primal is one of those games that has a lot of great elements and ideas, but the execution really lets it down. Aside from all the trademark early ‘00s “edginess” having aged poorly (at least to those of us with no fondness for that era of Western pop culture), it takes a really long time to get going and some of the key mechanics feel more forced than organic. If it’s ever revisited, the devs should take a cue from the early Ratchet & Clank games and give Scree his own levels that have unique gameplay elements.

God, I hate getting old 👴. Klonoa has already appeared in a lot of games. Some are Japanese exclusive even though there have been fan-made patches for them. Dog cat rabbit... We can't really tell honestly. I didn't think of Klonoa being part dog. I wanted to hear of the characters from Skies of Arcadia. I think that game could get remade someday. It's more likely than Blood Will Tell since Sega probably needed permission to use that IP. 15:12 Is Togepi even considered an egg? It just has an eggshell for a body.
