"Could you tell the difference between the gameplay and the actual TV show". Actually there was no footage from the TV show in the intro, at least what we saw in this video. So they replicated the shots (KITT driving through the desert and the close-ups) very convincingly considering it was 2002. I too first thought they used actual video from the show. Also KITT would jump from the stand-still in the series, so as an idea it was not so stupid as it looks 😅

Michael actually did drive KITT in the show, the only times KITT really drove himself was when Michael wasn't in the car. Idk that he really HAD to drive if KITT was able to on his own, but I suppose he wanted to since KITT was a SUPER COOL Trans Am.

I'm glad the SGFW (Worst Games Ever) continues, but I must say, I am also glad that the new channel gives the boys the opportunity to do the list-based videos and more scripted/rehearsed material again, as Ben and Peter were both the most enjoyable ones doing that back in the What Culture days. So finally it feels like I get the best of Vidiots with the best of What Culture, without (hopefully) whatever corporate nightmares drove them away in the first place.

I can't remember specifically, but I think one of the episodes explained that the reason why Wilton gave Michael his last name was because Michael looked exactly like Garth Knight, who was Wilton's son. Garth was a criminal who was locked away in a prison in Africa or somewhere and Wilton thought that no one in America would ever actually see him again.

This game is alright. The PC version allows you to change the physics in a text file, and you can save the car sounds into a folder and use them for various Windows operations. This game came out long after the show's relevancy, which means they probably got the license cheap.

Oh crap I did not recognise the game the entirety of the video. I actually played it when it came out. The puzzles only got more annoying later on. However, it did come out 15 years after the end of the TV series it was based on. The devs probably gave it all the time they could feasibly give to the rusty IP.

Michael Long took on wilton Knight's last name to honor the man who saved his life. Also he couldn't very well go around with his old last name or else people would know he didn't die that night. His old enemies would hunt him down and finish the job.

As a big Knight Rider fan I can see what the devs were trying to do. The constant slow mo stuff seems ripped straight from the 80s series. Of course the voice acting and collision/game is balls but like, it does seem like the devs at least knew the show.

I think Knight Rider could use a game for PS5 when the system is released. I could see it as a mix of graphics like Last of Us and mechanics like it with esionage levels as Michael out of the car as you get guns and have levels where you have fighting, stealth and undercover not blowing cover then driving Kitt and using every function able to race, chase criminals, bust through stuff, jump vehicles, etc and upgrade Kitt in semi during game. Have Michael, RC, Bonnie, Kitt, Devon, etc as cast and have Garth as end villain but i always thought that in the series Garth should of had KARR as Michael had KITT so put in game. Have David and others reprise voice roles except Edward as he died years ago. Would be cool. I watched every episode of the show when aired, have the NES game too and had this one long ago.

Ummm in Knight Rider KITT did stuff on his own. It was a car and a partner. And Jesus christ its explained in the show why he took the name and how FLAG worked etc. Wikipedia entry is accurate so reading that for a few mins can fill info in rather quickly
