What I love about this Turok reskin (particularly noticeable on N64/PC) is how it retains the same head-bob and the way you stuck to ladders, the in-your-face fog and rendering artifacts, so you get that Turok feel only with shit-ugly South Park graphics and none of the diverse enemies, weapons and levels. Basically it feels like those old Doom mods where they just replaced the sprites with Ned Flanders or Bin Laden or whatever.

Everyone had the same reaction. They were desperate to play it... until they actually did. Most kids wouldn't last 15 minutes before saying "fuck this shit, I'm out" and going off to do something else. It was quite amusing to watch.

I’m currently working my through Worst Games Ever, and I was just wondering if any of these videos have been taken down? It’s just that the previous video, according to both the main list, and the Worst Games Ever playlist, was Charlie’s Angels, and had Peter in the role of Game’s Victim, which he also is in this episode; I thought I’d skipped a show, or something, but I’ve checked, and this is next one in the list. I know sometimes record several episodes in a row, so wonder if they accidentally uploaded this one in the wrong order, or if something else had happened; it doesn’t really matter, I was just curious. It was a fantastic episode, as per usual- the quality doesn’t dip on Worst Games Ever; I remember playing this South Park game when it came out, and I, unlike several others, who have commented that they used to love it, thought it sucked balls back then haha.

Having seen gameplay of both this and the N64 version... this port is just baffling. It would be a dull tedious game about throwing snowballs at Turkeys either way but the N64 version has better textures and audio despite coming on a cartridge, on top of just looking and running better by virtue of N64s better 3D hardware. How do you port an N64 game to Playstation and make the audio worse!?
@golbibulbus51832 жыл бұрын
Yeah, why would the audio be worse on a CD than a lower storage cartridge? I think I found out that the games storage is about 100-225MB (which is higher than the cartridge) possibly because the cutscenes apparently converted to FMV to look like the N64 version.

Rather than being entertaining, this just came across as rather sad with South Park clearly being way outside both lads cultural wheelhouse and their endless attempts to highlight 'flaws' in the game that were almost immediately proven mistaken. There are a lot of lists out there of worst games in the world. There's a much longer list of worst games I've ever played. This is one of a handful of games that is on both lists. Absolute garbage. On par with Atari's ET. These are both games I played when they were new. I played the N64 version and I don't think the fog was as bad as it is in this version. But the only one enemy type per level thing was just so lazy. This game was a total cash grab. "We got the golden licence, we must exploit it as quickly as possible." Just like ET.
