For me, it’s Mass Effect. Taking out all the Reaper stuff, it’s a fascinating sci-fi universe full of history and fun stuff that I’d love to get lost in. Glad TripleJump agrees too

The Citadel DLC makes it clear life in Mass Effect would be amazing. It’s basically our world but with spaceships and sexy aliens.

it's cool till you die? Since we aren't the player character, we would just be ourselves, so we would be dead unless we were born way before we all died. But then that would also be full of wars, so you still might not make it.

For Pokemon I definitely would choose a region like Almia if you don't like Pokemon battling. Trainers don't really seem to be a thing in any of the Ranger games since there are no leagues or gyms. So there's no concern for battling. But if you want the same feel but without capturing, then the world of Beastieball is right there. A world full of equally interesting creatures who love to play a volleyball like game and who are only recruited through matches where you impress them enough that they ask to join. But if I was going to live in a game world, I'd pick the one from Re:Legend. A little coastal village, monster's to feed and tame so you can adventure and farm together, friendly townsfolk and festivals where you make flower decorations, smash melons, race the fish you've been raising, and grow truly massive turnips from your farm. And to sail the seas to explore the nearby islands you don't build a boat or hire a captain, you fish up a large ray or shark and just surf the waters bareback.

The X-Wing/TIE Fighter series, Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, Rogue squadron series, Shadows of the Empire and many more games might have something to say about Knights of the Old Republic being the 'first' star wars game. :D ( I assume there wasn't supposed to be a comma there and it was supposed to be 'the first KotOR', not 'the first, KotOR'. Not a real complaint, it just made me double-take and laugh.

since we aren't the player character, youd have a greater chance of being a super mutant, ghoul or just straight dead if we lived in the FO universe. Specially since computers were as bad as they were in the 50s, no internet, no good movies and a country full of people trying to kill you. And that isn't including the aliens....the only person Fallout is ok on is the player character. But even then, the player character still probably dies of cancer. Just because we use rad away doesn't mean our dna wasn't mutated, as we see in fallout 3 when eden has you use the virus in the purifier that kills all mutated people. You included.... Unless you wanna go somewhere they haven't covered, there could be a fully functional "nation"
