That turbo sounds like mine on my lb7 duramax.. mine whistles so load it hurts your hearing at 32psi. I love hearing it echo when I drive pass buildings it's so funny it turns everyone's heads when I roll by.

pretty cool. makes me want to slap that on my teg. the ac keeps leaking and well i can just put that stuff in a box for now. winter is coming! everything else i have has ac so why not make room for a real compressor hahaha. I have been street tuning on the stock b16 i have and think ive pulled what i can out of it and its time for more!

Turbo is a garret gt3071r gen 2, and it gets that sound from drilling out the speed sensor port on the compressor cover. Or you can send the compressor cover to get the T51R mod $500, you can google/youtube it from OCD works.

Damn that turbo spools good!!!!!!!!!!! It reminds me of my old saab 9000 when I rigged it to run on overboost mode all the time.... it wasn't super fast but man was it fun!!!!! A little bit of copper wire and a resistor was all it needed to just blast around 220hp-250hp.... LMAO well... till it it pushed the head!!!!!! I gotta video somewhere of me blasting off on redline with clouds of white smoke out of the exhaust making huge smoke rings 😂😂😂 not for nothing tho that Saab was wayyyy ahead of it's time... full digital dash, heated seats.... for a 1989 that was an awesome car it even had the soft spoiler in the back for downforce.... that is nuts for a car that old... and I got it around 2009-10ish

I've had a lot of bad experiences installing spark plugs with an electric tool/impact. The shock from the socket usually cracks the porcelain and would result in misfires under high boost.

You guys are awesome! Love the videos. I just got a 4 door civic automatic. Having troubles. It will run very hot sometimes. Then the check engine light comes on then starts blinking, I'll shut it off a and itll be fine next time I start it. I also having to put a 2 liter of water in the radiator every other day. No water in oil ,buy u think its head gasket on exhaust side? Guess I need to do a compression test huh?

Speedo and tach went out in my 01 crv. Checked all the fuses, all good, Tried swapping gauge cluster, no fix, swapped ecu, no fix, ran blue wire from drivers engine bay to dizzy, no tach still. I’ll swap speed sensors for the speedo but why won’t the tach work?

Probably has a t51r mod where the compressor side has small holes to let air in past the turbo air inlet

Antolio Parker-James Supreme nopee all he did was take off the speed sensor port on the turbo. No machining done to the housing at all

nick mcguire you can also use it as traction control in first gear. That's how I use it on my beetle really cuts down the wheel spin and helps the car 60ft quicker.
