I don't think the intention of mashups is to make a song better, I certainly don't think this one does that. I see them as more of a demonstration in songwriting I suppose

But maybe it's to personal for me cus I feel given up is a piece of history. Bit you are def talented! Also sometimes a mashup can be better than original imo. Not many can do so but yeah it is possible. (Don't want to offend you, but if you don't mind me sharing my mind, i would like you to check out xyclankiller2 on yt. This guy is on a other level. His LP / Slipknot / Eminem mashups are insanely good)

Oh I definitely agree. No better feeling than when I feel I've struck gold/something that improves the original tunes. I wouldn't have chosen to do this mash tbh, songs are too samey, but I just kind of felt an impulse to improve on someone else's idea. And with almost 20k views it means people will hopefully find my better ones!
