Loved this tutorial! I didn't have any problems following along with the paper pattern from your site as a reference during the video. I used two strands of worsted cotton with a 6.0 mm hook and it made just the right size to hold a oui yogurt jar for rooting plants. 😊

Hey there! Does somebody have experience with using it as a plant hanger? I am wondering about watering the plant...do you put someting under it to catch excess water? And has anyone tried hanging these in the bathroom? I want to make a plant hanger for my sister's bathroom using cotton garn, will that work with the humidity? Thanks!
@SweetSofties3 жыл бұрын
That's a good question...I'm not sure! I would say that it would probably be best to put in a plant that doesn't need a lot of water and doesn't have holes on the bottom of the pot, so you can make sure to keep the basket clean. (Unless you want it to be an outdoor basket.) I think using cotton yarn would be great for your needs!

Do you know how strong the basket will be?
@SweetSofties2 жыл бұрын
Hi! It's quite strong/sturdy as a crocheted item (can easily support potted plants, fruits, or what you'd like to fit inside), but I think it depends more on how you have it secured to the wall. Make sure you have a strong nail to hold up heavier objects, if you plan to put heavier things inside. Hope this helps!

@SweetSofties5 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry! I noticed that the camera angle was off partway through the video before adjusting it. Apologies if the video seemed fast; I make it so that it won't be too boring to familiar beginners and intermediate crocheters, and so that they can pause the video if needed. My complete pattern videos (like this one) aren't suitable for new beginners to crochet because I don't teach how to make the different stitches; I simply show the stitches and the instruction. However, I plan to make some more videos explaining stitches in the future!
