@@eriklarson9137 From what I've seen from other BMW rebuilds it looks like their philosophy is why use one part when 5 can do the same thing. Keeps the parts guys happy.

bcz it has two "air filters" even tho one is for absorbing gas fumes that might leak out. Probably for weight difference.

BMW engineers have zero f---s to give about human factors. Its almost as if they go out of their way to make their cars impossible to service.

I had a minor bump in my F90 M5 - I needed a new front bumper, one new light and new bonnet (Hood) and a few fixings. To include paint and back to factory the cost in the UK was £6000 ($8400) 😳 These cars cost a f-king fortune to repair 🤪

Had the same with a 12 year old lexus, the hood was barely chipped, so it was left like that. Dealer still charged almost €2700, even though I bought a used headlight separately, and the bumper was non oem off of eBay. So just the labor, paint and a few small parts. Should have said no and sold it for parts, but for a new m5, it is still worth it I guess, the car still costs a lot of money.

Thanks for being honest and posting the prices! Very far and few between too! Good deal for $6,000 basically. Thankful the windshield wasn’t damaged or cracked. That HUD one is expensive.

One of the first year F90 M5 problems is that the trans is a stubborn little b*tch to launch sometimes, but when it works that thing RIPS! Can't wait to see you try to launch it! 😎

M5 F90 See lots of them here in Calgary. I'm putting out about 430 Horses went head to head with one of them. I got the jump on him for about 50 yards and then he Lit em Up and was doing Mach 3 in no time. Beautiful car. You do Awesome work👍👍👍

Have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport, the mechanism that controls the high beams fail almost a year ago,left headlamp was available, there is none world wide for the right,so it sits,your lucky you can get parts for the BMW.

In my area of SoCal only high end body shops will work on newer BMWs now because of the nightmare of all the sensors malfunctioning when doing body work repairs. Your scanner will light up with more errors than you can count.

Looks like the BMW right there entering into Chattanooga. My friends car broke down on the was to slammed enough in Gatlinburg and the team there are great they helped out even let us repair his car in the parking lot. The mechanics even let us borrow some tools . I would eff do business with them.

Did you have to replace the pigtail for the knee airbag I was having a problem and that was it now all the airbags are good no more airbag warning light
