my thruxton 900 EFI has one of those "choke" things on it as well, triumph calls it a 'fast idle' which you can use to warm the bike up quickly in cooler weather. Its actually been handy

Best thing to use for metal stuff like the bottom of the forks is a brush and some WD-40, works like magic pulling crap out of the metal. Just make sure you de-grease it afterwards to keep dirt away

Well with the cct it looks like you don’t even need to take off the tank and fir the coolant change there usually a bolt drain plug on the water pump and since it pressurized you’ll need to open the radiator cap to release the pressure from it then to get all the coolant out you’ll need to fill with distill water and run it to operating temperature and then drain it and keep repeating till it’s just clear but other then that you did better than chace so good job 😄

Still watching the vid. 10-min mark. So I apologize if it's too late for this. But. Electrical work. What helps significantly: 1.) Strip both wires. 2.) Tin both wires. (get some solder covering 'em.) 3.) PUT THE HEAT SHRINK ON. Once it's soldered, it's usually not possible to do this, unless you take it apart. 4.) An often-overlooked step: Make a *mechanical* connection between the wires. Turn 'em into hooks, put 'em together, then smoosh 'em together a little. Make 'em be able to hold together without solder. And *then* 5.) Add a little more solder, to finish the connection, before 6.) sliding the heat shrink into place, and snugging it down. That mechanical connection between the wires really helps strengthen the joint, and prevents it from cracking apart later through vibration and such. There are methods other than the two-hooks technique, but that's the one I'm familiar with from Navy electrical work.

Add Clip-ons instead of putting the bar back, it makes bikes looks sooooo much better. Make a custom finish on the tank preferably Mat black or just put a leather tank cover on there in white. Put a custom single leather seat on there and cut off the tail of the bike (half of the frame holding the seat). Add white rubber tire circles on both sides of the tires. Just some suggestions from a Hornet owner over here!

The "Choke" on a fuel injected engine is called a Fast Idle Circuit. I believe they used it as a cost saving measure on earlier EFI bikes. Now they just have the comouter do it. My '01 Aprilia RSV Mille R has one too. When I bought it I was a bit confused!

One trick that I use to extract stripped bolts like that, is to get a torx bit that aaaaaaalmost fits into the stripped out cavity. Then hammer it in there and then turn it with a 1/4 or 3/8 drive, whatever it may be.

For a stuck bolt try PB Blaster, LIGHT tapping to encourage liquid to get in seams, wait a little while and try again. If it doesn’t work, drill the head off and use vise grips to get the threaded part out once you’ve disassembled. Or use a reverse threaded tool extractor.

Commentate over what you're actually doing! ya know just briefly say what you're doing, why, how, etc. This helps people who are new to motorcycles understand whats happening instead of just guessing what you're doing like changing fluids for example. Also can be more entertaining for those who know what you're doing while there are just clips thrown together without commentary or music. Keep up the series!
