Yay! I know you have a lot more to go, but I bet it feels so good to have this huge project finally happening. I wish we lived closer and we would totally show up to help, it looks like you have a lot of great helpers though. The TN people are right, I also was surprised that the old house was so close to your tiny home. It will be amazing just to have that open space. Good luck tomorrow and stay safe everyone!

I think it's a brilliant idea to connect the 2 houses. Your older kids could maybe make it their "studio apartment" as they grow older but aren't ready to fly the coop just yet. And this way it would be nice to still "be there" and keep an eye on them. Keeping Bella in mind, as she may like that opportunity in the future seeing as she is so much invested into the property.

My husband and son has been tearing it down, saving as much oak as possible that didn't burn. It's exhausting work. He finally agreed to ask for help for this Saturday. Hopefully it can be brought down. Thank for sharing your life with us!!!

It's the 26th. This was so fun to watch. When we bought our house in 2011 the house next to us had been deserted by the owner since 2008 and then foreclosed. The roof on the garage fell in, in the center in 2012. Our village finally got the house condemned and the bank had to come out, empty it and take the garage down. It was hard for them to even take that down! It def was solid. Someone eventually bought it in an auction in 2018, gutted it and rebuilt the inside and sold it last year. The cement patch where the garage once stood is now where their kids play basketball.

@jasonkreke29902 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately we won’t keep the concrete for a few reasons. One I can’t tell how good of a job they did with the pouring or reinforcements and also we are seriously considering radiant heat in the floor. Not to mention that the concrete may not be at the height we want for the whole house. Thanks for asking

My question is in no way related to this video, but I hope that you still see it. Can you point me to the video where you talk about Bella healing her eczema and details on how I can do it myself?
@jasonandjulie2 жыл бұрын
Hi Melanie! I don’t know that I’ve ever done a video talking about the plan we used. After trying many things and seeing many doctors, we took her to one natural doctor who did blood work for food sensitivities and then had bella avoid anything that came up as a sensitivity, while also doing a “candida diet” (no sugar, carbs, fruit, etc) for 6 months. He also had her take colostrum and vitamin C every few hours during the day. I believe it healed her gut which then made the eczema go away. Eczema is usually just a sign of something wrong on the inside… especially poor gut health. A year later we had her retested and her food sensitivities were mostly gone. She still avoids gluten and tries not to eat too much sugar. Most doctors just want to treat eczema topically, but it doesn’t actually get to the root of the problem. It’s just a temporary fix. I hope this is helpful. Eczema really is very individualized. I pray that you find what’s going on with your body so you can get some solutions
@melaniepalmer42062 жыл бұрын
@@jasonandjulie thank you for getting back to me, Julie! Yes, I totally understand that it is a problem on the inside. I haven't found that certain foods trigger it, just that I have a flare up each week! Do you mind sharing what kind of colostrum she took?
@jasonandjulie2 жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry I don’t remember. It was something they sold at their office and they actually closed their practice soon after we had gone to them. It was cow colostrum. And the vitamin c was a spray
