Even in places like Detroit, where the real estate market isn’t so hot, people will tear down buildings to build urban farmland and get government grants to do it. So there’s definitely plenty of good reasons to tear down a condemned building

I'm glad you covered the trees & plants, etc. I know that some of those cactus are protected & endangered (Kind of like the Joshua trees). I know some people have gotten HUGE fines for tearing something out.

I am struggling tremendously. I started wholesaling 3 years ago, and I had 3 deals right out of the gate, made $35k first 5 months. Then it took me a year to get my forth deal and its been 20 month since my last. For the life of me I can't figure out what happened. I send Direct mail to 4 lists Inherited, Absentee Owner, Driving 4 Dollars, Tax Delinquent. I've stayed consistent but I'm going broke.

Jerry, Now you got me thinking! I know of a couple burn downs, vacant props., and this area is growing. One of them has nice older trees, and in Arizona, established larger trees add value, because in summer, IT'S a BLAST Furnace. There was a dub-wide mobile, dub-garage, lot of sheds, all burned to various degrees. I need help. I just found you not that long ago!! Lots of moving pieces I want so much to understand and desire complete working mastery. I'm going to share you my situation. I live in poverty, like as in 8 years of no hot water. Summer doesn't matter, but this is winter. My social security pay out for 2019 was a little over $8,500. ( full "retirement", almost 69 yrs. Live in my tiny '84 travel trailer, and pay rent, etc. It was raining in here last night, had to cover my chair and computer. All is well. You can't live to this age and not have bad stuff happen to you. All those things made me who I am becoming! Beauty out of ashes. You won't hear me complain. And I'm a saver. You know what I'm saving for starts with F, and saving is in "Slo-mo" because it is. Meanwhile the Eye is opening, and the Brain is learning. Also, is it advisable to retire the utilities and then put an ad in craigslist for people to come and get whatever they want from the house? That way you can reuse a lot of the material to people who need it and also reduce landfill trash.
