TheUltimateEbil If im correct than after you pick up lybra your stats (tears, damage, speed etc.) always level out. This is barely noticable when you pick up simple power-ups and more noticable when you pick up something like inner eye, soy milk or radioactive spider. It is really prominent with Polyphemus, and it is the most dangerous synergy with IPECAC (it pretty much turns you into a grenade launcher gatling gun...)

The teleporting you got came from the Cursed Eye you got in the Chest (the white orb that allowed the charging). The idea is that it only teleports you when you get hit while charging (apparently it depends on the colors during the charge not sure about that). And to clarify you can reroll EVERY item thats on a pedestal in the game what makes Angelrooms as Isaac less shitty overall as you can reroll the Keypieces too and either gain 1 or at best 2 free items.

At the end; that's the downside of Cursed Eye. If you're charging the attack and you get hit, you tend to teleport. It's incredibly annoying and it's why the Cursed Eye is considered a pain in the ass to play with, as far as I know. But thanks to your piercing tears + shielded tears combo you were able to work with it.

TearofGrace The thing that is causing you to teleport is the cursed eye. It makes you shoot 4 shots at once, but if you get hit there is a 80% chance you will teleport out of that room. (Kind of like cursed skull.) It looks like moms pearl too. :P

You should check out Tower of Guns, it's on this Ps+ lineup of games. It's kind of like Binding of Isaac, you enter a room kill enemies and then progress until a boss. It's a first person shooter though.
