Might be nostalgia, there's something about this TV show that struck a chord in me. It taught me about true friendships, unconditional love, sacrifice, and sometimes.. even letting go of the ones you care about the most in life..values that are clearly lacking in today's shallow society. I know it was just a cartoon show for kids but, it played a significant role in shaping the person i am today. I'm thankful I grew up in the 90s to experience it.

This movie... I saw it yesterday and I cried. This had so much love put into it. I loved the old characters and the new characters, I loved the animation, I loved the work put into it, I loved that this Pokemon movie was finally something original, not formulaic stuff meant to promote events. Pretty much everyone in the audience was singing along to the title theme, and it was magical. I have high hopes for the rest of gen 7's cinematic ventures.
