I got a call from Be the Match several months ago informing me that I was the only match for a lady with leukemia. After several months I was finally given the green light to donate. I cried so much after my donation because it was really the best feeling I’ve ever had in my entire life. I hope I get to meet the patient and her family some day. I am so thankful that I matched with someone and had the opportunity to donate- I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
