This version of the song done at the Proms with full orchestra is a showing tribute to the wonderful songs from the 80’s. SO much better, and timeless in posterity, than the crap that gets foisted on us today.

The Masterpiece of the 80's. No matter where or when I heard this on my car radio or sound system, the rules stated it must be cranked way up. It had a rhythm to really dance to. Great guitar riff and solo...Sounds so much like the original recording from the 80's...no rock song from that era can top this. Wow! Great job, folks!

I should ask here, do we have new '80s style songs' anymore? I don't know about country, I like some 'club/trance' (ex. Laura Aqui - After Dark or any Emma Hewitt), but newish pop songs seem to veer away from the kind of vibe the '80s' songs had?

Admittedly I've never really been a fan of most 80's music. But this song has me entranced. I remember liking the chorus when I was a young kid, but rediscovered the song while watching The Wire. It was playing in the background during a great McNulty bar scene and I tracked it down, learned the solo on guitar and have been obsessed ever since. It never gets old.
