What an amazing song. I recall when it first came out, the 80s, the best era in music. I recall watching the video, then singing along and just having a great time, enjoying this music that brings back so many amazing memories. Truly timeless and ageless music. We saw them in concert back in the 80s in a Radio City Music Hall, NYC and we loved every second of it. It was such a great show and glad that we were part of that time period having a great time and enjoying life.

Eu tenho 56 anos e não fico nessa vibe de só olhar pra trás. Todas as épocas tiveram coisas maravilhosas e horrorosas. Inclusive os anos 80 que eram super criticados pela geração mais velha como um período péssimo . Lembro de discussões enormes com pessoal mais velho que dizia que nos anos 80 só tinha música pobre. E eu defendia "a minha época". Converso com uma galera mais jovem hj (filhos, sobrinhos e amigos) e a leitura deles é muito bacana. De gente que tá curtindo juçara Marçal, Francisco El hombre, Juliana Linhares, Juliano Holanda, maglore, Chico Chico, a banda mais bonita da cidade, Zé Manoel, caio prado, luedji Luna (isso só em âmbito nacional) e se sentindo muito feliz em ser contemporâneos de artistas como esses. Imagina alguém que cresce ouvindo led Zeppelin, pink Floyd, Stones, David bowie...ele vai olhar para os que vem depois (anos 80) e dizer que a época deles foi mais legal. E por aí vai. A melhor época é sempre a que se vive. Meu tempo é hoje. Não é ontem. Ontem eu vi e vivi tudo...hj mais maduro, continuo fazendo a mesma coisa. E viva o que virá . Sempre.
