I'm so glad I ran across this version of "Mad World" by Chase. Between 2009 and 2014, I would put this song on repeat in my iPod - playing it over and over and over for two hours or so while I was working out at Ansley Mall's LA Fitness in Midtown Atlanta. They were the four darkest years of my life, but somehow that song was one of the things that kept me on this earth - so I could listen to it. Even at night, I would do the same - have it on repeat until morning. I never got tired of listening to it. For whatever reason(s), of which I'm not really sure of even to this day - this song gave me an inkling of hope that had thinned into a fine mist. There are periods in our lives that so many of us go through the darkness - of one shade or another looking for the light. This song was my light. Chase's version is as beautiful as he is. Gary and his voice are gifts to this mad world in which we live. An amazing talent.

Besides that, you basically covered all of my favorite songs haha "Fix You", "Creep", and of course "Mad World" as well. Music is everything to me, that's why Chester's death from Linkin Park still has me a little broken inside. People often call Epiphones a poor man's Gibson. I have one of each in the same hollow body style. I prefer the Ephiphone Wildcat. Good cover. I have always felt this is a nice song.
