I' m from Rio de Janeiro and I bought tratti DVD in a small CD store at Rodoviária Tietê ( a big bus station in São Paulo). So, I believe one might find it in a small bookstore or cd store in the most unexpected places. I bought that by chance: I just came across a cd store, came in and luckily found it. That's all. Nah. TFF is timeless. They may have made it big starting in the 80’s.but their music is timeless. Why do we still call them an 80’s band like it’s a bad thing? Do we call Journey a 70’s or 80’s band? No, because they’re simply great bands who play phenomenal music. TFF still better music than anything I’ve heard in the last twenty years at least.

Summer Blackwell I agree when you mentioned how this generation's music doesn't have as much heart, I'll listen to anything the year 1960-1990. But that's a great way to make sure future generations know what real music is, I hope you successfully pass on the music. -Jason -Peace

I think TFF were the best band of the 80s due to the fact that they had it all: savvy musical sensibilities (pop, rock, and jazz), great lyrics and a social/political conscience at a time when few bands had all that in spades. I put them even above U2 and The Police. Maybe a tie for first with R.E.M.

they were good for one album, an admittedly excellent debut album. After that they became total shit. which is very sad but virtually ever decent act sold out in the 80s.

***** I strongly urge you to give the Sowing the Seeds of Love album from 1989 a listen. Or, a thousand listens. Total shit is what we have now. That album is sonic gold. Cheers.

They do deserve to be in the same sentence as U2, Police, and REM. It's subjective but these guys were equally as good musicians as the Police and wrote some excellent song and harmonies. REM had incredible energy and had a very organic feel. REM captured a gothic aspect of the south in much the same way Faulkner did. This is a pretty mind blowing performance in terms of musicianship, energy, and timing; oh and vocals and just about everything else.

They played the whole set twice in this concert! Rewind the backing tape and played again. Both sets are filmed.
