Thanks Frank! I’m glad you persevered through the KZbin nonsense to share this! You’ve helped me better nuance this song and inspired me to try it with the looper! Cheers

Thank you so much for the lesson. I was confused at 4:25 because the transcription was incorrect. But I was able to use my ear to get it.

Great lesson brother! There are so many little add libs and riffs in this song, you could do a two hour guitar lesson on it. You did a good job of distilling it down into it's basic parts. Love it.

Good job getting around the copyright! I guess the positive side of copyright is we are playing it right that we are confirmed.

@@FrankPersico Something really strange has happened in the last two weeks. Last week I uploaded 4 song lessons and 3 of them received copyright claims even though I tested them before uploading. Second, I never sang a note. Third, I checked today and the claims were removed. Just scheduled another video today with no singing and and again copyright claim. This system is more moody than a woman.

I assumed you didn’t include it because of the subject matter of song being sad and dark. How do you weigh in on sad songs when playing for a live crowd?
@FrankPersico3 ай бұрын
No I just realized it was more involved to teach than the others. I feel it out when playing a crowd. It’s hard to say but if you choose your spots you can get in in there and people will like it. Like sandwich it between other Clapton songs as part of a block is one trick I use.

I learned that shallow song by lady ga ga, i feel its better than tears in heaven, i play it like you did in your live video, tired of old songs,

Shallow is a great one! I play that as well. Thanks for sharing maybe I need to do a vid on this !!

@@FrankPersico when I herd you do shallow on your You tube, it inspired me to learn it, just like the vibe and vocal expression on it, I'm good picker on guitar, I'm just to lazy to learn tears in heaven correctly, lol

without taking anything away from personal tastes. But Tears in Heaven remains among the top 10 most beautiful songs ever, both for the lyrics but above all for the composition and Shallow would not exist without this pearl of a song.

You forgot the lyrics. Would you know my name... if I gave into KZbin? Get the songs refrain...if I gave into KZbin. I'm not alone...this is my home...cause you know I don't fear silly KZbin.
