When Katie added ”..and I really want to marry him” got me to turn to my JYN- worksheet on my father, to what kind of person I dont seem to be able to stop myself from helping to the extent that I loose all my energy. I read no 5 from my worksheet: My father is ego-centric, selfish, not attentive to my feelings, unempathic. I coulnt finish reading, a laughter started pouring out of me, keept pouring, pouring, pouring loadly and tears ran down my face and for the first time I could see how hilarious this was. The laughter burned through a very very old religion of mine. Thank you Katie and all participants of this video - you sooooo made my day! Grateful and hilariously happy :)

5:31 the point of saying: "I'm willing to" sth unpleasant is to prevent yourself from refusing to recognize it if you're in such a situation and thus pushing it into the subconscious... you create your reality through deep and mostly unconscious beliefs, and not so much through affirmations... btw to say "I'm willing to" is not an affirmation... an affirmation is: "I am"... I'm willing to only broadens your ability to perceive reality... which you then can consciously take care of...

Theres something in Byron Katies approach, that I see her holding space for the ego that is very selected. It would be very interesting to have heard practitioners say how they actually feel with her in the room. Also she answering the guy "you exist only in your mind" can lead to big misunderstandings and intrusive reality. I see a potenial danger for this mans reality, because I sense her language to be invasive her. But also I see her as human being in the context of a different decade.
