Part of the reason Infinte lost to a thwomp was because he was increasing gravity, similar to how he changed gravity in a Forces level. King Boo was naturally unaffected since he floats, and the thwomp hit harder and faster than normal due to the increased gravity.

You're actually right, but I'll add more on description of king boo. You are right about king boo floating, but it's the reason why he floats is why he wasn't effected by the ruby's power. King boo is a ghost( a form of illusion).

By the way, word of God said that the final punch on the good doctor was actually the Final Blow/Critical Hit effect from Smash Bros Ultimate. But it DOES look a lot like the Black Flash, so, no argument there.

Even 1v1 Bowser still beats Eggman. Most of Eggman's power comes from his army (Sage, Metal Sonic, Time Eater, Infinite, Hard Boiled Heavies, etc) meanwhile his own mechs aren't anywhere near Bowser's level. Deprive both of them of their armies and Bowser still has his heavy hitting trump cards (star rod, dream stone, rage mode, grand star, dry bowser, and pure hearts) meanwhile Eggman is left with just his mechs, death egg, chaos emeralds and *maybe* the phantom ruby (all of which can be counter by bowser's raw strength, magic, or before stated trump cards). Eggman only stood a chance BECAUSE he had the likes of Sage, Infinite, Metal Sonic, etc at his back to help him.

It's due to scaling of verse itself. Most people scale the Sonic verse at least hyperversal, Sonic has scaled to be at multiversal to arguably hyperversal lvl and, Eggman's tech are on the same lvl given his creations can go toe to toe with Sonic. Sonic's speed scale at mftl+ to immeasurable and Eggman's mechs can keep up with him including Metal Sonic.

I don't think most people were considering this as a 1v1. The McGuffins of each universe are what make this so difficult ( a metaphorical draw because its too hard to comprehend), especially with the intelligence difference. Bowser relies on his trumps for big brain stuff, so the biggest thing was could Ivo realistically use his intellect and his super items to outwit and maneuver Bowser's forces, who aren't exactly geniuses. I think nobody was debating if a human could beat a space-godzilla with no tools. A scientist without his most powerful tools and creations is obviously worthless. I think they just gave him infinite power and killed him unceremoniously as a sort of consolation prize (he is just like any other group of villains he teamed with. It didn't really last forever.), but a non-factor in the end to not tip the scales. I honestly felt that making his death inherent to him arbitrarily deciding to use gravity manipulation and remain stationary was a DIRTY way of taking him out. Limiting his arsenal was a little irritating considering we literally are popping out wonder stars, chaos emeralds, etc outta no where, but the dream stone never got any use and honestly would just one-shot egg man without any light man amps or potential chaos emerald interference so I can't complain really.

I mean, Bowser outstats Super Neo Metal Sonic anyway, but there's plenty of ways Bowser can just straight up outplay him. First, Dreamstone wish "Swiggity Swooty, I wish away Metal Sonic's booty". Second method, is Kamek stealing the Chaos Emeralds, or turning them into Flip Flops. There's tons of methods Bowser has to wash not just Metal Sonic at his best, but Eggman's whole army.

@thedydoug8281 Well, unfortunately for Metal, Bowser was placed at faster. About 7x faster with the Star Travel feat and Solaris' energy feats. Both in Quadrillions C, but Bowser's being higher. So if it came to a wish quick draw, Bowser wins that. Plus Bowser has resisted such wishes before. As for how strong Kamek is, he's generally less focused on being outright strong, and more just haxy as hell. The flip flop thing isn't even from Mario Party, it's from the RPGs, where Kamek can turn your whole inventory and all your attack options into Flip Flops. Like the rest of Eggman's Army, Metal can't resist magic that just decides "Too bad, you're something else now", in fact, in those very same comics Metal has been effected by magic that turned things into crystal. Regarding Mario Party's Canon, it's as Canon as anything else in the Mario series. They've always been astoundingly firm in that Mario barely has a Canon, and the sports and party games have been referenced in more mainline games. It's fair pickings.
