Here's the best part. I know for a fact that 50% of these people who are being deported should have never been granted the visa by the embassy. You won't have to spend so much time effort and money if the first visa wasn't granted.

It's due to the fact that a VISA=$$$. Essentially, it's up to CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION at the POE, (Port of Entry), to catch the bad guy, "if" they're sharp enough & follow due diligence. And they DO as evidenced in these clips.

I feel so bad for the customs officer that did the last one with the woman from South Africa. It is so hard to see someone in need and want to do something for them and your job literally forbid you from doing it. That is so crushing. I work in insurance and, mine is support for the geriatric community and I have to tell elderly people that need help that they don’t need enough help to qualify for their benefits sometimes. And it’s a painful thing to have to tell someone that I know you need help but you don’t need enough help or you didn’t do this one thing right so I can’t do anything for you.

In the first case with the South African woman, there were 2 issues it seems. 1) Her romantic relationship with a UK citizen . 2) she worked longer than her visa allowed on her previous visit. The second issue is such a definite concern but I felt they focused so much on the boyfriend thing. I mean a relationship with someone someone from a different country is commonplace. What is a couple to do? How do get round this?

Working holiday. 1 year of work and 1 year of play. When someone goes on holiday for 2 weeks, they don't go out and look for a job.
