Oh really? That's the highest I could go unfortunately. I turned up the volume in the video editing software all the way to 400%. I recently got a comment about the videos being too loud, LOL. You probably have already done this but if not, turn up the volume in both KZbin and your computer. If your computer audio is low, there might be a setting you can change to increase the volume. Another tip is from a student who said it helped her to turn on the closed captioning. Hopefully something will work for you. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. :-)

Thank you so much for this great video. It is very helpful. Reading section is one of my weakness.

That's great! I'm glad to hear the video helped! I totally agree that the reading section can be hard...it is my least favorite subject among all TEAS subject areas, LOL. But you will get better with more practice! Thank you for your feedback! ☺️

I am sill not understanding question #4. The Correct answer is B but, I chose D because Patients who have respiratory diseases such as COPD are able to communicate on a scale from: 0-10. But, Patients who are on a mechanical ventilator can not because they are unable to communitate.

Good question. Your reasoning is correct that COPD patients would be able to communicate their pain. I think you may have misunderstood what the question was asking for. Pain assessment using the tools would be be beneficial for patients who can't communicate well, like those who are on a mechanical ventilator as you said. Again, the tools would help those who cannot communicate. Patients who can communicate/articulate their pain are not a concern in this article and they are not the target of the pain assessment approach discussed in the article. Hope this helps. If you still have questions about this, feel free to let me know. :-)

@@professoryu5571 so for question #4: answer choice B is correct because this entire paragraph is about using pain assessment tool is beneficial for people who can't communicate.

Yeah, my recording equipment is not very great. I was relying on my old laptop and a pair of old headphones that had mic... :-( I also lost a little volume and sound clarity when the video was saved in the video editing app...:-( :-( One student actually suggested turning on the caption. Even though some words may not be the same, it does help. Perhaps you can try that if you really have trouble hearing me...

I had a passing score on the TEAS but I am going to retake the test to get a higher score. I can't stand the reading section at all. That's the only sec that just ruined everything for me.
@professoryu5571 Жыл бұрын
I totally agree that the reading section is very tricky-i don't think some of the questions are very reasonable :-(. But we have to do what we have to do! Do as much practice as possible. Every time you read something and solve questions, your brain gets better at digesting and extracting the information :-)
