So proud of the team working on the Palouse boots and taking the time to get them right. These boots are absolutely awesome!

Beautifully made mini-documentary. Can almost smell the leather. I’ve always ridiculed acquaintances who’ve made bucket lists. Now I have a bucket list-one ambition: to own and wear out a pair of Nick’s Palouse boots.

Beautiful boot.. can only imagine that you are going to pay for the quality and wait forever. Buy once, cry once, I guess. It's a Great looking boot, however. Be a good every day, do everything boot. As long as that shank is roomy enough to allow easy on. You don't have to jump up and down to get your foot in them. It would be nice to have a spur shelf and smooth leather sole for riding, too, though. Those rubber soles hang up in the stirups. THANK YOU for not making them a square toe boot. These are great ranch work every day boots. Simple and well made, stacked western heel is very appreciated. This boot would sell off the shelves faster than a store could get them in inventory. So you can walk in, try them on, and walk out with a beautiful new pair of boots.

How do they remove the marks made by the pliers?
@JinsKookieJamsАй бұрын
*10:20** For example in the lasting process here, that material will be hidden anyway under the midsole and rubber outsole. It won't affect the overall boots. **14:39** is the bottoming where the pliers marks are covered up. **17:05** the stitching will also cover the welt area, at least make it less visible. For the majority of the pliers marks, they're covered up by the midsole and rubber sole.*

Why do they cut the leather and lay it around with the front of the boot but not the back? It doesn’t match.

I mean im all down for it, im curious to see how the leather will shrink around the ankles. However leather outsole wouldve been better. A spur ledge wouldve been a must! Specially with a riding heel looks like its a 1.75 inch It looked like cork sheet for the midsole? If its, i hope yall really fill in all the gaps like smooth cork. No steel shank? Shocked on that one. I think perhaps a spur ledge and leather outsoles and maybe i will consider it.
@JinsKookieJamsАй бұрын
*They don't use cork in their boots. **14:00** is black foam with leather shanks on top. The foam is for comfort and to prevent squeaking. **14:33** is a leather midsole if that was what you were referring to. The video description says it releases on November 8th (more info in there).* *Video description:* *"Re-launching on November 8th, sign up for early access & be the first in line! We’re only taking 40 orders a month - you’re not gonna want to miss your chance!"*

Nicks typically uses a leather shank instead of metal--look at video starting at 14:10
@JinsKookieJamsАй бұрын
@@brh20001 *Don't need to. I already know they use leather shanks. I pointed out the leather shanks to you lol 🤣🤣! Anyway, I hope the points about cork make sense. They don't use cork in any of their boots. They use that flat foam there (cushioning and to prevent squeaking), and the leather midsole goes on top. The cavity is never deep enough for cork, which is why they don't use it all. The video description says the launch opens November 8th and they'll only take 40 orders if you want a pair 😊!*

Cowboy boots for men and women typically have heels often. I've seen cowboy boots made by other companies that use wedge soles though. If you want boots of some kind with a wedge sole, Nicks does have some models on their website.

Can we please have it with a leather sole as an option 😫 W&C too 🫶🏼
