as a new member, I am loving all the extra information the team are revealing during interviews. Also, it’s lovely to see them looking almost the same as when they first filmed the series- and not just the women either!

A great catch up with the team over this past few weeks. I guess this is in response to the fake Time Team channel, which was gifting out HD quality rips of the shows. Im glad this channel has surfaced, as I never saw it before, and an very happy to find this as last. I dont mind the Dig Ventures stuff but I prefer this from the horses mouth. Would be great to get a series of fully edited Digital episodes, so I can catch up with the series I missed all those years ago. Well done all and keep up the great work.

I know she was filmed with a potato for this podcast, but... She's looking great for someone who is almost 60 y/o.

Prof. Lewis has such perfect features for the camera -- interesting facial structure, strong nose, great cheekbones, etc. She also has a lovely complexion -- very fair, but she turned a lovely golden color when she got in the sun. And if she was filmed with a potato, the audio was recorded with an artichoke.

Well, this is fascinating. She must have been either a patroness, or, more likely, a much loved superior: not only did she have a traumatic injury to her head, but she had a bone deep injury to her thigh. She would have been lame at best if they had saved her; more likely that she would have lost her leg.... There was a degree of desperation in their attempt to save her. Just practically speaking; the monastery was in disarray. She must have lain out in the courtyard all night. The other holy people would have run or been attacked as well. It wasn't as if they were calm and well-prepared. It wasn't as if she were likely to survive, and, in fact, she didn't. But they tried, anyway. She was vital to them; otherwise they would have treated her pain and let her die.

It's amazing how much info can be gleaned from a skeleton. I miss that show. :(

When was this made? They talk about a pastime dig, but I don't get the feeling of them being present. The resolution is ridiculously low, and the sound of a laptop made 15 years ago. I am confused...cuz, these people are working in the medium where videos should be opposite to shit.

I think these may have been made on a phone, or perhaps as part of the Time Team Digital programme. Crazy thing, 10 years ago 480p was the standard, now its unwatchable. But I still enjoy these releases.

Narada Ian But I didn’t refer to her, I meant the producer.. Btw, you can only make such horrible quality by choice nowadays. If you only know how to press call/answer then you know enough about skype and the likes, the program does all the boring stuff. I have my concerns about the producer from TT, and my jab was directed to him. If he don’t think this is confusing and poor standard, I am not surprised. The people doing archaeology and all the labor , are the people I like and respect. They are professional, the people who wants to cash inn on them should also be emulating that.(Along with improving their ethics)
