Nobody sings a tortured song like Agnetha. This is an incredibly masterful song. Lyrics are so touching, melody is simple yet very powerful. Vocals magnificent and harmonies heavenly. Outstanding song. Abba are more than the glorious upbeat songs people associate them with. They bring real, heartbreaking human experiences to their songs. Incredible

Oh, by the way, in a BBC interview with Frida from just a week ago or so, the interviewer asked her how it was decided who would sing lead on a particular song. Frida said that songs like this, that are 'story telling' type songs were often sung by Agnetha. she said that Agnetha had a gift for this kind of lyric music, moreso than herself. i thought that was interesting.

@@tommyeriksson6044 I find Frida's vocals in ISHFIY really hit those emotional storytelling points perfectly. And she's telling the story of ABBA! Its beautiful and its perfect for what it is, just like I Can Be That Woman. Thats the magic of this band. They have songs each can deliver better, they each have strength and weakness, but no other band can claim to have the talents so perfectly matched and two such capable singers.

@@jamie514 *Oh Yes OHH YESSZ* *Sir you explained it very well, spot on. Both Agnetha and Frida they both ARE perfect match. BUT l must say that both these ladies sound damn good ONLY when they sing songs written by Bjorn & Benny and vice versa. That is the magic* *Agnetha or Frida sound horrible when they sing songs from other songwriters. The same goes to Bjorn & Benny ... where for example ... I Know Him So Well would have gone to a different level if ONLY it was done by Agnetha & Frida* *In conclusion:* *Only A&A could do justice to songs written by B&B (my 2cents opinion)*

@@redmi9t444 I also feel that the ladies really sounded their best singing with Abba. I've heard that the boys, but particularly Benny, loved pushing the girls to their vocal peaks. I think they became elite level vocalists because they pushed themselves over the top. Agneta mastered live singing with Abba and Frida really experimented with her voice, finding her true and unique timbre (according to herself). Lastly, I agree regarding I Know Him So Well. That song was fine as it was, a real masterpiece sung by greats like Paige and Dickson. But Frida and Agnetha could've lifted the song up a notch or two. And just imagine Heaven Help My Heart by Agnetha or You and I by Frida

Agneta is amazing and I think this is the best song from the new album together with Don´t Shut Me Down. Fridas birthday today by the way. She is also fantastic. Greetings from Sweden and we hope you will continue with your ABBA-reactions :) A lot of old gold musicvideos with ABBA to enjoy

Most people associate Abba with the glorious, upbeat disco songs, but they are equally exceptional at the more sombre songs. This song punches us because it is such a real human experience. It is so beautiful ❤

Voyage has turned out to be (in my estimation) a very good album. this song is reminiscent of songs from Agnetha's post-ABBA music.

It's so good that Frida had to make note of it during her BBC 2 interview last week.... and it was also quite enduring and sweet the way she Said it was like coming home with her little sister ❤️

In an interview in a german radio show Benny mentioned that this song is actually about an alcoholic woman. And he said that there might not be too many songs about addicted women out there....

*ASalam* *A&A vocals combined with B&B songwriting skills IS the magic* *When A&A sing songs by other composers they sound horrible. And when other singers sing songs written by B&B the songs lack lustre & depth* *For example, I Know Him So Well would have gone to a different level if only A&A had delivered it* (My 2cents opinion)

Best song on the Album. The emotional story telling by Agnetha is just fantastic and heart wrenching. When Frida joins in the background they sound like Angels. The Lyrics are about Tammy Wynette and her Husband George Jones. Both huge country artists. Both had addictions and suffered terrible fights, yet the still loved each other.

The emotion is so genuine. Agnetha doesn't have to try too hard because she has been there. That is what makes this song so real. It resonates with many couples .

Great reaction. You should do ABBA's track When All Is Said And Done from 1981s The Visitors (my favorite ABBA album), not one that every reactor does, but it is a very adult track about relationships, starting in a bar or restaurant where they are toasting one last time to the relationship they had together.

This song is one of those songs that starts out not being a favorite, but works it's way on to my list, the more and more I hear it. It is one of those songs I would use to demonstrate the depth and growth the group developed as songwriters and interpreters.

Bjorn, the lyricist, is a long time fan of Tammy Wynette & although he names the dog Tammy, the song is about Tammy & George Jones & their extremely volatile relationship.

I like Agnetha singing the story telling type of song but joining with Frida sounds like an angel...When the two vocalists sang together that is ABBA...Agnetha alone is not ABBA and so with Frida...There must be a synergy of the two lead vocalists to make it a real ABBA....
