TEC Charleroi - Metro Leger de Charleroi - Centenaire - Waterloo

Een rit met een BN LRV wagen over de nooit in dienst gestelde lijn naar Centenaire. De lijn gaat in ruwbouw nog een stuk verder en staat gepland om afgebouwd te worden. De werken zouden volgend jaar starten.

wow.... incredible how there is still power on the lines and they are still working ... also the tracks seem pretty smooth even the signals work?! WOW :D how is this possible? also I really want to know what bystanders thought seeing a tram there :D

Actually usually once a year a heritage tram runs on this line. This has been for at least the past 5 years.

Great to see they're working on it again. I remember walking a part of this line as part of a Geocache when visiting Charleroi a while ago. It was a cool walk because of how diverse the landscape was from elevated to tunnel, through stations and cuttings.

When I took this video, they haven't actually begun working on the line itself. It has been active almost all the time since the completion.

I was thinking the samr when i was in Manila, unlucky i got my phone snatched on the MRT, but police was able to find the snatcher. Didn´t knew it was same manufacturer, but now it make sense. Thx for.the info. And, it´s more fun in the Philippines 😁

Theoretisch sind dort schon immer Bahnen gefahren. Die Oberleitung wurde permanent mit Strom versorgt, weil darüber auch das restliche Netz erreicht wird. Zwischen Chet und Waterloo werden regelmäßig Ausbildungsfahrten gemacht. Ich habe mir vor zwei Wochen auch einen Bahnhof von innen angesehen. Das Risiko, dass gerade in diesem Moment ein Zug kommt, ist ja trotzdem sehr gering.
