It took long enough, but Tech 21 finally figured out the Sansamp footswitch was a waste. I think they finally got the Flyrig features right with this acoustic version.

It looks like a single coil pickup is mounted on the guitar, but unfortunately you do not tell anything about the guitar's pickup system, which is a big mistake, in my opinion. If you play through a single coil, it is not at all an acoustic signal.

Sorry but yes, it is!... It's an acoustic signal. It's a specific acoustic pickup that people use to amplify acoustic guitars when there is NO preamp on the guitar....So it's perfect. You can also install a piezo under the bridge, and that's also fine. So both the piezo and the pickup are correct....Many guitarists put a pickup like that when they want to amplify an old guitar that DOESN'T HAVE a sound system installed (like the one in the video). So you can have 3 options to amplify acoustic guitars: - Factory onboard preamp (with EQ, tuner, etc). - Piezo system that you install (a Fishman, for example). - Acoustic pickup that you put in the soundhole of the guitar (L.R. Baggs, for ex). All of them good. I hope I made myself clear with that explanation. Cheers

Love the simplicity of this unit, BUT it's mono 👎🏻 so I'll await the stereo version, a solo acoustic player or sole guitar player in a band needs a stereo option for width and depth.

This colors the tone way too much. Much better choice is T Rex Soulmate Acoustic! I chose it over this Tech 21 and am very happy I did.

What an egocentric piece of gear from Tech 21... no thought towards the modern acoustic performer... just another board full of the effects they already have parts for. Really disappointing launch from such a cool pedal company that brought Us innovation with the Sansamp.
