Thanks For the Video! I have a question. I have always thought that Holden and other manufactures build all their V8 cars and then sell it to the costumer. Because basically all car look the same. Teams building different cars but all looking the same it just a bit uncommon to me. So can someone please tell me why teams have to build their own cars? What are the rules to building their own cars, spec wise. And why and teams like the Triple 8 can have such a big advantage over the rest of the field when they are all using identical looking car? Thanks!

Lawrence Lo as far as I know (I've only just got into it form years of British touring cars) that a lot of the parts are controlled to ensure parity between the vehicles but there are minor differences between the engines and the bodywork. If one team can tune an engine better then they might gain an advantage.

the Vehicles use to be factory shells with teams building there own suspenion and other little bits then it went to blueprint which ment just got to meat the same shape and size as a factory car with soem factory parts then as of 2013 till 2022 we had car of the future chassis which evolved into next gen which was a set spec of bar work and body parts mandated by supercars the engine and suspenion and soem other parts where manufactured by teams some part mandated gearbox engine size power and torque pedalbox brake rotors calipers pads all mandated and around 2018 the shocks and coilovers and springs become even amongest all teams and in 2023 the engines will be even amonest all teams
