This fork setup is really nice. I know you said they don’t break but rock crawling/ bashing rocks. They small threaded area is a problem. Your sleeve around the shaft is a must. I noticed the upper shaft is necked down small ass well. I had an internal failure at that point.

If I want the plushest ride possible out of all sxs for Utah trails (mostly rocky, 20-40mph type stuff), what’s my ideal car (also assuming I’d do a full spring kit and valving calving from y’all)? X3 XRS? Maybe Pro R?

Just take all the competitors forks line them up on a bench and and point out the weaknesses compared to yours. Everybody and there brother are making these things.

I don’t think they are necessarily weak. It’s just that some don’t surround and support the shaft. That’s easy to see. Not bagging on others forks. Just some of the misleading marketing that should be pointed out 👍🏼

How do torque the fork?

We have a tool that goes between the bolt hood and has a 1/2” drive on it fir the torque wrench

We run the Tensors on everything in the desert. 35’s for pre running and 33’s for race because rules restrict us to 33’s.
